Chapter 1

Young-Jae
I cracked my knuckles as I glared at Jisung. I stretched my arms before folding my hands into fists. Jisung, on the other hand, sighed as he shakes his head as he also folded his hands into fists.

"Aish Jae you hard headed guy. I'm so done with you" he said as he groaned in annoyance. " You're just scared that I might beat you" I chuckled as I smirked.

"I AM NOT!" He sighed and rolled his eyes "let's just get over this" he looked at me blankly. We raised our fists in the air "ROCK, PAPERS, SCISSORS SHOOT!!!" I laughed so loud as I saw that I threw stone and Jisung had scissors.

"AWWW C'MON!!! WHY DO I ALWAYS LOSE AT THIS GAME?!" Jisung whined and pouts while thrashing his arms around "This means I get to do what I want".

I went to my walk in closet to change some clothes that are not fancy, Joggers, plain shirt, and slippers. Yep that newbie would probably think I'm just a commoner and if he disrespect me because of what I look then he needs to learn a lesson, people should be treated equally.

"Why do you have to do that? " Jisung groaned as he points at my outfit "to know which personel is good or bad?" I Shrugged as I went out of the closet. " Sometimes I think you're not a hundred yrs old " he face palmed before grabbing a cap and put it on my head.

" Jisung, sometimes you have to have fun and not be serious always" I said as I walked out of the house and went to my car while Jisung follows me. Jisung went to the driver's seat and I went to the passenger's seat, he always say he should drive or else we'd die if I do, harsh. "Drop me 5 meters away from the entrance Jisung" I said as I smirked at the idea of my plan. Jisung rolled his eyes playfully while chuckling.

"Honestly I can't wait to see the newbies reaction..." Jisung said while shaking his head "you crazy old man" he continued . "HEY! I STILL LOOK YOUNG MORON! " I said obviously offended while Jisung just laughed at my reaction. After 40 minutes we arrived and he dropped me 5 meters away from the entrance.

As I walked towards the Entrance, I saw the newbie near the door. 'bingo' I walked towards the door and the guards noticed me amd was about to greet me but I pressed my pointer finger on my lips while smiling mischievously so they instantly pursed their lips and nod.

I walked inside casually while looking around. I heard someone cleared their throat, I looked behind me and saw the newbie with a scowl on his face. I raised an eyebrow 'this boi has no manners' . I continue walking while looking at how well arranged the shoes in each isles are.

I went to the new arrival area and saw a shoes that's my style so I grabbed it and look at it in awe. 'I might as well, buy this baby here' . I felt someone tapped my shoulders, I looked at the person and saw it was the newbie. I hummed "what?" I asked monotonously.

"Uhm sir but Have you seen the price? It's worth dollars if you're not gonna buy it you can leave"as he said that, I saw Jisung trying his best not to laugh loudly. I sighed to calm myself down the looked at the boy unfazed. "Is that so?" I said as I act like I was holding the shoes as if it was gold.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know. " I said very exaggerated .I can now see Jisung clutching his stomach. I placed the shoes in it's original place and huffs exaggeratedly "Young men nowadays doesn't have manners hm?" I muttered loud enough for him to hear .

The boy gasps and shouted " so YOU mean I don't have manners?!" He pointed at himself while his mouth wide agaped. I turned towards him with another exaggerated shock expression "wait. YOU are NOT?! Or you just think YOU are Not? " He looked offended at what I said and scoffed " you know what? If you're just here to make mess you get out! " He shouted.

The manager ran towards the commotion "what's happening here?" The manager, Leo asked while looking back in forth at the boy and me. Since Leo was Jisung and mine's best friend he understands the commotion and shakes his head.

"This MAN right here clearly won't buy anything , he looks like he can't even afford this shoes " the boy said while pointing at me while I looked at him with a blank stare.

I then looked at Leo with a wide grin "Oh Leo, how nice to see you today!" The boy looked shock when I greeted Leo "You see.. this Kid right here clearly doesn't have manners" I pointed at the boy who is now confused.

" Fix this problem or I will deduct his pay or fire him" I shrugged playfully . "F-fire?" The poor boy stuttered .

His eyes widened in realization " Sure thing Jae- I mean boss" he said clearly trying not to laugh. " Now apologize to the owner of this store and some... Company.. " he turned towards the boy. The boy literally apologizes a lot of times and Jisung is now finally laughing so loud because of that.

I removed my cap after the boy and Leo went to the basement and rubs Jisung's back. "You can now stop buddy. You can now breath" I chuckled as I pat his back while I go outside. " Ahhh that made me crave for coffee Jisung let's go to my fav café" I said as I walk towards the car.

" I guess I also need a drink since my throat is dry after all those laughing! " Jisung stated as he went inside the car and I followed suit.

*Time skip*

After some random talk, we finished drinking our coffees. "Aight, Jisung we should go now"
I stood up and looked at Jisung who also stood up. "Ah hold on.. Jae-ssi, can you wait for me outside? I have to go to the restroom"
I just nod and waved signalling him to go which he understands since he walked towards the restroom.

I went outside the parking area to wait for Jisung. I was about to get my phone to check my social medias when I heard a loud noise from the bush at thethe cafe's garden. So as a curious person, I  went near it and checked where the noise came from. What I saw surprised me , a little girl probably 4 yrs of age laying down the ground unconscious.

Something about her makes me want to take her with me. As if on instict, I carried the girl towards the car. I felt like I needed to protect her, and I don't know why. When I arrived at the car, Jisung is already there looking for me .

"Jisung!" He instantly looked ay me after calling him. Jisung sighed and was about to say something but stopped when he saw the little girl in my arms. "W-who is that?" Jisung asked while staring at the young child.

I shrugged my shoulders and looked at the direction where the garden is, "I just saw her there," I nodded to the direction of the garden "I heard loud thud over there so I followed where the sound is from, and I saw her laying there unconsciously.. well more like sleeping?."

I looked at Jisung who was looking at the child then to me repeating the process . "Tf are you doing Sung?!" I held the child protectively and looked at Jisung weirdly. Jisung looked at me shocked "Jae.. you were never that fond of children before, this sight before me is a shock! You holding the child like a father would do is a sight to not forget" he stated before taking a picture of me.

I huffed and glared at Jisung giving him a hint that I would slap him later and not now since he had the child in his arms. "Well, honestly , there's something in this child that makes me want to keep her though. " I looked at the child and smiled.

" Ey Jisung let's take this child IT'S GETTING COLD! " Jisung raised an eyebrow " What if she has parents looking for her?" I looked at him blankly wanting to slap him " how many minutes were we standing here?" I glared at him slightly. " Well half an hour? quarter an... Hour..? " he answered unsurely.

" And is there someone looking for her? " Jisung looked around and sighed " yeah fine I'm tired too and let's just wait if theres a report of a missing child" he unlocked the doors then opened the backseat and the child lay down with her head on my lap and then closed the door.

"Aight, I'll sleep in your house tonight Jae" he said as he went in the driver's seat then looked at me smirking. "And mess up then not clean up?! Hell no! " We bicker back and forth, let's just say it was a hella loud way home.
