TUESDAY
9:20 pm
The chairs were pushed out of the way when George couldn't reach his wife. The anger in his heart was enough to hurt her physically and a chair seemed like the plausible first step. He just couldn't believe that she was still questioning his loyalty to her and their marriage. His breathing,.. loud and dangerous. They had this argument almost every time things did not work out in her favor. George tried to speak but Erica kept rambling on and on..
"...it hasn't always been this way you know, you caused it. I work as hard as you do but you don't appreciate me. Some little cash won't hurt. You keep all the information about your finances with Anthony like he is the one you married and you met the man just three years ago!". Erica said still talking while arranging the chairs. She really did know how to get on his nerves.
"He has been tested and trusted". George said finally calming down a bit . " Besides he is a part of the family already. He takes David like his own son."
"What do you expect from a man who will do what it takes to get what he wants?" she questioned settling down on the settee beside the bed. The argument was losing its momentum and she did not like that.
"Anthony has no family, of course he is going to want to use that to con you". She said laughing mockingly.
"Don't mock him or his wife because of their childlessness, Erica. It's rude." George warned pointing his finger at her clearly irritated by her words.
"Well, I'm not sorry about it. They say good men listen to their wives but you prefer to listen to Anthony!"
"I still don't understand what Anthony is doing in this conversation. You're requesting for something that won't happen. You're my wife not my financial adviser... you'd only be one if you knew how money worked or how to spend it wisely." He had finally dropped the bomb.
That should shut her up for tonight,George thought as he strode proudly to his side of the bed.
Erica knew George didn't have any financial plans for them as a couple or for their son and it made no sense for her to always beg and fight for her rights. His snore was just loud enough for her to know she had lost this one, which she never did.

WEDNESDAY
7:05 am
The morning was gray and cool. It was seen as a sign that it was either going to rain or something bad was going to happen. Anthony buttoned up his frequently worn turquoise shirt. I don't need expensive clothes to be happy he thought. He had been working with his friend for three years and requesting nothing but wisdom from the man. His pay was just enough to feed himself and his wife and afford other things. They couldn't have a child yet after ten years of marriage. Packing his bags he walked close to his wife still asleep and gave her a peck on the cheek before walking out of the room. Anthony picked his keys from the dining table while taking a long last look at the house before leaving.
"It's definitely going to rain". He said looking up to the sky as soon as he stepped out of the house.
Wednesday, 8:13 am
George made his way in to his office while his P.A, Jane walked behind him telling him about his activities for the day.
"Has Anthony arrived?" He asked sitting on his chair while glancing at the papers on his table.
"Yes sir." She replied
"Call him in please."
Jane dropped her writing pad and then exited the room.
George could not stop thinking about how he could make his wife see reason on why he trusted Anthony. He picked up the papers on his table and started reading them.
