A/N: This chapter has been edited and I have rewritten it! It might not be that great since I'm not great at writing fluff but I like it better than what it was before!

Todoroki's POV

I got up for what felt like the fifth time tonight, I just couldn't sleep no matter what. I switched on my phone, 12:38 am. It wasn't a routine. Nevertheless, I always seemed to be incapable to sleep at night- particularly on Friday nights. Exactly like tonight. Groaning aloud, I got up from my futon and slipped on a random jacket before heading out of my room.

As soon as I stepped into the hallway, I winced at the brightness of the lights. I guess no one turned off the lights tonight. I shrugged off the meaningless thought and begrudgingly went outside for a walk. It was colder than I thought it would be, the cold pierced my skin through the thin fabric which was my jacket. A shaky breath also revealed to me that it was cold enough for my breath to condense. I considered going back inside. It would be warmer, but I would be alone in the dark. At least outside I could still see the twinkling of the stars and hear the occasional car. Being outside was definitely better than being inside.

Since we weren't allowed off campus at night, I trudged through the forest, heading towards a clearing which would give me a stunning view of the sky. I promptly reached the clearing, shivering while walking, and sat at the base of a large tree while leaning against it. I enjoy this spot a lot. I could comfortably fall asleep out here, in fact, I might just do tha-

My thoughts were disrupted by my phone vibrating, not once, but twice.

Midoriya: Todoroki-kun?
Midoriya: R u awake?

Midoriya's use of slang made me smile.

Todoroki: Yes, I am awake.
Todoroki: What is bothering you?

Midoriya: Can u come over to my dorm?
Midoriya: I think someone's on my balcony and I'm worried

Before I could think, I instantaneously spring up and run back to the dorm, panting as I climb up the stairs. I found it peculiar that someone could get on his balcony. However, this wasn't the time to think of that, Midoriya could be in trouble. I approached his room and swiftly opened the door, only to be greeted with Aoyama watching Midoriya. He looked up at me, seemingly startled, and promptly left. Not without leaving some, cheese? Whatever. I hurried to Midoriya's side.

"Midoriya, are you alright?"

I spoke in a panicked tone, worried for him. He didn't reply and simply nodded while looking at me with wide eyes, wide, beautiful emerald eyes.

"Don't worry, it was Aoyama on your balcony, he left some cheese I think."

I saw Midoriya have a bewildered look cross his face before sitting up.

"Aoyama?"

He spoke with uncertainty, confusion lacing his voice.

I got off his bed and looked at the message Aoyama left.

'I know'

I blinked, confusion taking over my mind. What could that mean? Either way, it doesn't concern me. I went back over to Midoriya's bed and perched next to him- he was lost in his thoughts.
