The Everlasting Titans (Chapter 2)

"Hey what are you laughing about?" Kate said looking at me with a smirk in her eye.

"Oh you know Luna being Luna." I say laughing cautiously looking at them keeping what I said to her out of the conversation, so that way they don't worry about me.

"Mmmhmm okay sis," she said the the sarcastic tone in her voice. We both sit there laughing at each other while Blake is in the back confused as fuck.

"Okay, enough leaving me out I want to know what is so goddamn funny between you two?" He said with a pout.

"Awe babe, it's just a sister thing." I say looking back at him with a sweet smile.

"Blake if you were a girl and had a sister who was the same age as you then you would understand, believe me." Kate said looking at him through the rearview mirror. Blake just puffs and sits back in his seat. I just give him a sweet glare and we go back to jamming out to our music. When all of a sudden we get a call from Dalton. I turn down the radio and Kate picks up the phone and puts it on speaker.

Dalton: Hey we need your help we kinda got stuck in a ditch about a mile back.

Kate: Really Dalton, and you wonder why Elena and Blake came with me. (She said laughing)

Dalton: Fuck off, just come help us so that way we can get back on the road. *He said sarcastically.*

Elena: Be right there you dumb ass.

We drive back a mile to see that they were in fact stuck in a ditch, but it was a very prequilar ditch. Not like any other I have ever seen before. That's when I see Kate tense up Blake starts to walk up to the car and Kate and I stay back for a sec.

"Kate what's up?" I asked her worried

"El, that's not just any ditch, do you recognize it?" She said terrified.

"Omg that's the type of ditch Jake made when he helped us defeat that orge." I say shocked.

"He found us..." she said with sadness and fear in her voice.

"We gotta keep this from the others till we know for sure that it was him." I said to her, she nodded in response. We turned towards the car that was stuck. Kate started to lift the car with her powers, but being gentle enough not to throw the car.

"Thanks guys, let's get back on the road Kate lead the way." Dalton said to us.

"This time I'm driving Dalton, move over." Blake said getting into the car with Dalton, Abi and Lizzy. Kate and I got into her car and continued forward with Blake tailing us. This will give Kate and I a chance to talk without alarming the others.

"Kate are you okay?"  I ask her

"No El, I'm not just the thought of seeing him or even fighting him kills me, because of the way I feel for him scares me that I won't be able to focus. Then my powers will be all out of whack and I won't be able to complete the mission and you guys could get hurt. He was my first real love El that's just not something you can get over but for right now I just have to focus on everything, but him." She said with tears beaming her beautiful caramel brown eyes. I want to hug her but I know if I do she will break down and we don't want that while she is driving. So I just give her a soft smile and

"Kate you are stronger than you even know. If it came down to it, you would do what would have to be done to save us all." I said trying to reassure her.

"Of course I would El other than you, this team is the only family we have and I will protect this family with my life if I have too." she said smiling
