A few seconds after I sent the message, Taehyung called. I answered it right away, feeling a little giddy.
"I'm already outside your building. I texted Eunwoo that you'll leave now." he said.
I looked at his name on my phone like I'm seeing him, What the hell is he going to ask me for him to go here unannounced?
Sighing, I stood up and collected my things. When I got out of my office, Yeri stood up and greeted me," Leaving early today, Ms. Kim?"
I smiled at her, "Yes."
"You got a date with Mr. Jeon tonight, Ms. Kim?" Yeri asked, teasing me.
I would've scolded Yeri for teasing me but her teasing made me remember Jungkook, the one that I'm supposed to have dinner with tonight.
"I don't have a date tonight." I smiled at her once again before leaving.
Inside the elevator, I texted Jungkook.

I let out a sigh of relief after my conversation with Jungkook. But then, I felt nervous the instant I stepped out of the elevator and saw Taehyung waiting for me in the lobby. He was wearing a black suit and tie, which meant he was probably working before he came here.
Taehyung stood when he saw me approaching him. He placed a hand in his pocket and raised his hand lazily to greet me.
"Where will we talk about that inquiry of yours?" I asked him.
"Over dinner?"
Raising an eyebrow, I asked, "And where are you taking me for dinner, Mr. Kim?"
"Somewhere I know you'll love." the corner of his mouth quirked up.
Inside his car, Taehyung didn't talk and just kept driving quietly. I was looking at the places we were passing through until Taehyung turned left until entered a familiar village.
My head quickly whipped towards Taehyung as he pulled up, a wide smile on my face, "We're having dinner at BTS?"
And it's not just BTS, it the BTS branch we've kept on going to when we were in college.
He smirked, "Excited much?" I nodded enthusiastically. I just missed this place. Our friends had a lot of memories here, even after Taehyung left us.
"Don't move." Taehyung said and got out of the car. Confused, I followed his move as he walked towards my side of the car and opened the door for me. "Let's go?" He offered his hand for me to hold and when I did, he carefully pulled me up and closed the door behind me.
I let go of his hand before walking towards the entrance of the restaurant.
When we got inside, a familiar face greeted us with a shocked expression. "V, is that you?" Beside me, Taehyung nodded, smiling. The man who recognized Taehyung hugged him and said, "You've grown taller." He let go of Taehyung, holding both his arms to take a good look of his face. "And more handsome. What have you been eating these days, huh?"
