She heard the music as soon as she turned off the car.

When she opened the front door, she could see him mopping the hardwood floors…

dancing as he did so.

She stood in silence, watching him.

When the song ended,

he turned and saw her standing there.

The next song started.

They stood in silence, 

staring at each other.

She smiled,

dropping her parcel

and danced to him.

he dropped the mop

and 

they danced 

on the sparking hardwood floors.
