I know it's been, oh its been along time.
7 years ago , since that night.
You still have that same look in your eyes.
Do you remember when we first met?
That day we ran away with the world in our hands.
It feels like it was only yesterday, when I saw you last.
Deep down I know our time has gone and passed,
but deep down my heart can't help but ask.
Do you ever wonder what could've been?
Do you ever wish that you could turn the hands of time?
Sometimes I wish I would've stayed,
instead of making you watch me walk away.
Even after chasing and finding all of my dreams,
there's this void inside of me.
Do you ever wonder what could've been?
Do you remember that summer day?
That time I finally asked for your name?
I'm not surprised you haven't changed.
Do you remember when we thought we could rule the world?
I still shed a tear over the day it all went wrong.
Deep down I feel like it's still my fault.
We just wanted everything, we wanted it all.
I wish we could have fought a little harder for it all.
Do you ever wonder what could've been?
Do you ever pray god to let you fall back in time?
Some nights I think I should have chased you down.
Lay it all on the floor and put my heart on the ground.
Cos even after finding and chasing all of my dreams.
I'm still feeling incomplete.
