To my first love.
Thank you for being a good friend. Your kindness was what I needed in my worst hour. When we first met, I admit I wasn't in the best of shape. My spirt had been damaged, but that never seemed to bother you. In fact you never thought I was broken. I also thank you for never embarrassing me or shaming me for being in love with you.
I know you didn't love me the way I loved you, but I appreciate that you ever loved me at all. For the way you took care of me and watched over me. I am grateful for the time you spent in my life.
Though, your time on this earth and in my life was short, I'm still happy I met you.
I'm still happy you were part of my life.
It's as they say,
"You never forget your first love."
Thank you, for being my first real love, and thank you for teaching me to love and to simply just be loved in return.
