And I have a strong sense that I can pursue it from the number on the telephone. What can those numbers mean?

The position of the body, narrow gap between where the gun could be held by the person and the body, the strange order of the books, loss of the murder weapon...

Anything must be taken into consideration.

How did the murderer come up with the plan?

I heard George's voice cutting my train of thought, "We're not going to the agency, Dad."

Director didn't hesitate on answering him, "Why? You will investigate the case?"

"Favor for being a good son. Send me the files tomorrow and I'll check it. Make sure that the crime scene isn't touched by the police and I have every angle to spot from the crime scene photos. You will get the results via evening tomorrow. I will interview the kid myself and I will be held accountable for everything. I will also ask some witnesses. I can bring you if you're not busy. Remember the two serious cases I helped you with?" bargained George.

"You can't be held accountable for this. I am." said the other, determined.

Yet George's spoil nature tend to tease him, "Tell me Dad, have your son disappointed you?"

His Dad didn't respond for minutes. We waited until we got the answer we've been waiting for, "I will entrust the case to you, George but make sure you give the proper evidence if you have a criminal tomorrow evening. If you don't, I will entrust it to the agency and you won't ever hold a single thing related to it."

"I will. Oh," the lad dilated his eyes as if he remembered something, "You can also access the files for the apartment shootings, right? Can I also have that?"

The Director stopped the car halfway and removed the siren from the roof. He came back and drove again, "Do you think this is connected to it?"

"I think so." he remarked by putting his forefinger and thumb under his chin.

Hindi ako nagkamali to ask George's help for this. I know he will come up with that idea.

I checked on George's living room clock. It is 5:35 in the morning. Who would even remember to sleep if we need to compile the details of the crime in the shortest amount of time?

The house helpers serve us foods and drinks which we fail to touch because of the long story I provide. I told everything to George starting from when I met Dain until the interrogation in the police station.

His Dad was a busy man and after he left us that evening, he drove his car again to work in dark shift. He didn't have a time to accompany us because the schedule is full for a high-ranking official like him. We stayed in his three-storey box-like house, particularly in the living room with four couches forming perimeter of a square and glass table at the center.

The blue paint on the wall gives a lonely vibe though the red carpet symbolizes confidence for the guests to speak their minds.

I was pushed by the atmosphere and bloody scene I saw before, for I didn't hide any facts from George particularly points which we should look at.

George told me the plan. I will join him in putting a stop to the case. After I explain the details to him and supply my discoveries, he plans to study the crime scene through photos and going to the scene itself.

If we have hints about the suspects, that he will study it in my company because I saw the corpse first-hand and I spoke with Dain before death or at least know who my friend is.
