Maya looked over at the stage which she was on just a few minutes ago not even believing that she was now a high school graduate.
She barely started high school or that is how it felt for her.
She looked at her promise ring on her finger shining brightly in the late June sun.
"You happy?" Josh asked catching her attention.
"Why wouldn't I be? I have everything I need in my life," Maya said as Josh stood in front of her.
"What's wrong?" Maya asked as he went down on his knees pulling out a box.
Maya gasped at the sight of a beautiful diamond as early tears came in her eyes.
"Maya Hart, will you marry me?"
"Yes," Maya answered.
