There was screaming, yelling, flashing lights everywhere. There were vines tugging at my feet and knocking down our homes. Fire spread and all the lavender flowers died down and crippled. Everything was happening so fast. My heart was pounding out of my chest, surely I was going insane, right? That had to be a dream. But as soon as it all started, I found myself flung through the air.
As I looked down at what I used to call home, I realized how much I had, and how grateful I should've been to have it all. I guess the sayings were right, you never know what you have, until you lose it. You see, I wasn't exactly normal. I couldn't fit in. All the other boys dreamed to one day be a warrior and pritect our kingdom. I, on the other hand, wanted to explore the world. I wanted adventure. I wanted to see the world. My mother was the only one who believed my dreams would come true. Everyone else thought otherwise. They treated me differently. They called me names, most I would never repeat. But now I wish I went back to that life.
I watched as everything and everyone I knew burned in a big, horrific fire. Smoke filled the air, and it was difficult to breathe. Who knows how much worse this could get. It finally struck me on what was happening. There have been reports of kingdoms being found abandoned, only a black rose was left. A single rose. No one knows who had caused this all, or why this was happening. All I knew at that moment, was that our kingdom was next. I finally crashed into a tree trunk. I passed out immediately from the force of the fall. At that moment, I was sure to have been dead. I was wrong.
