elena got up for school she got dressed in something simple jeans and a t-shirt she got jordan into a sleeper and gave her a bottle and layed her back down bonnie was sitting on the couch when there was a knock at the door
bonnie got up and opened the door klaus walked in"there's a freezer of bloodbags in the basement i keep them for guests" bonnie said
"i'm ready" elena said coming out of her room with her book bag
"don't let them get to you" klaus said
"yeah cause there gonna go easy" elena siad
"i'll make sure everything is alright" bonnie said
"thanks nik see you later" elena said bonnie and elena headed to school elena had to go to the office when she got there she seen the secretary
"elena nice to see you again" Ms.preston said
"yeah i'm back" elena smiled
"you should be able to catch up easily do you have an excuse just so i can put it the system" Ms. preston said
elena got eye contact with her"no excuse needed"
"ok you can head on to class everything is fine" Ms.Preston said
"thank you" elena said she walked to her locker and get her books
"did you just compel her" caroline said
"you do it all the time caroline don't think i don't know whata so bad about me doing it" elena said she grabbed her things and went to class with caroline following her
"how did you know that" caroline asked
"i'm not stupid i know you compel the teachers the students and the office staff you are absent a lot you know" elena said
"ok i do but you just comepeled a teacher you never do that" caroline said
"its been two weeks for you and 2 years for me caroline i've changed a lot" elena said she walked in the room and they went to there seats
"welcome back elena" alaric said everyone else started coming in
tyler walked in and took his seat by caroline and was surprised to see elena"when did you get back and what did you do to your hair"
"yesterday and for my i cut it and curled it" elena said after seeing tatia she had decided she wanted to change something so she decided on her hair
"don't forget to tell him you weren't in denver" rebekah said walking in with kol
"still making you wait your hurting yourself she's your neice but you already figured that out" elena smiled
"i like this elena way more she says what she wants and doesn't let people control her" bonnie said
"i second that" caroline said
"good cause she's not going anywhere" elena said they countinued on with the rest of class between classes elena and bonnie were going to their lockers
when a group of girls walked past"oh my god rebekah's brother is so hot" elena slammed her locker making bonnie jump out of her day dream
"whats wrong" bonnie asked she was confused on to why elena was suddenly mad
"oh nothing long day just got worse i just want to get back to jordan" elena said"ok lets go to class "
"did you see that" rebekah asked kol they were at her locker across the hall
"see what" kol asked
"elena she just got mad and slammed the locker" rebekah said
"ok and i care because" kol siad
"nevermind i forgot you could careless that jordan could be your daughter its not nik and doubt she's elijah's just think about that" rebekah said and walked away rebekah wanted to know the truth but again not that long ago elena stabbed her in the back she wanted to know her neice and what happened when elena went to the past she knew the rules of where she came from they didn't have kids out of wedlock meaning that elena married into the family
they all went to there next class and sat in there seats caroline passed a note to elena'stop glarring at stephanie before someone notices' elena balled it up and put it in her bag
then she whispered so only the vampires could hear her"caroline shut up sometimes" they continued on with the classes at lunch bonnie and elena sat by eachother away from everyone else
"so why were you glarring at stephanie what did she do to you" bonnie asked
"just something that she said" elena said
"oh you mean what she said in the hallway before you slammed your locker so i was right" bonnie siad
"i can't say" elena smiled
caroline walked over to elena followed by stefan and tyler"so you've been glarring at stephanie because"
"i have not been glarring at stephanie maybe i just have an attitude i rather be home right now not here so if you got something to say how about you say it don't hide" elena said
"or maybe your lying cause you don't want no one to know what did stephanie say today i heard it" stefan said
"i don't know what your talking about stefan" elena sighed
"you know exactly what i'm talking about why'd you slam your locker" stefan said
"ok thats enough what is wrong with you people" rebekah said walking over
"you don't even like elena" tyler said
"yeah but she gave me a neice and i never turn my back on family no matter how mad i am" rebekah said elena stood up and went in front of stefan
"you didn't hear stephanie say anything when she was by me" elena compelled
"oh she's good" caroline said
"something i learned if you don't remeber you know nothing" elena said she went and sat next to bonnie she knew there were rules to whats going on they had to be able to handle it before they could actually know she didn't want to make anything worse so if she had to wait then she was just going to have to wait
rebekah went and sat back next to kol
"yeah its you it has to be she's acting like you used to" rebekah said
