She has a demon side like Belthazor
She went into hiding after Cole dies in season four (4) because she thought the charmed ones might go after her next but they don't because she doesn't do anything that will attract their attention
When she went into hiding she moved to Smallville she opened a bounty hunters/Private investigators office in smallville but will do work in metropolis she does her assassin work on the side and discreetly
She meets Lex in season one (1) during episode 13 (Kinetic) when he hire her to do some investigation work for him to find the thieves that can walk through walls
Before or when Lex and OC get together she will tell him about her being a demon and showing him her demon form and her powers like

Lionel is the bad guy or you can have Lex and OC be the bad guys
