Somehow her power connects her to Lex that she even had to go to the same school as him even though it's an all boy school she is Lex's family she defends Lex against people like Jonathan Kent, his Father,
Growing up they were there for each other and know what each other's homes were like so they hid each other from their parents
OC understands that the world is like and is not in black and white there are shades grey
Her parents are kind of old fashioned and don't believe a woman should be in the workplace and that she should be married and having kids instead
So her parents and Lionel set up an arranged marriage for her and Lex and they have to be married before they are 23 so sometime in season 3 they don't know this until after episode Heat season 2
But it backfires on her parents because Lex doesn't try to control her and encourages her to study, work or what she wants to do
Lex and OC have loved each other for years but they didn't think the other loved them so when they hear about the arrangement a first they are upset because they think each other doesn't want this
they will have children eventually when their ready
So Lex won't marry Helen or Lana or cheat neither will OC
Lionel is the bad guy
