Throw the words straight at my face,
My heart already felt like a disgrace,
Feeling intertwined like a shoe lace,
Because you're only in this for the chase. While I'd love to imagine glistening,
Oceans glimmering,
No more whispering,
Just you and me.I know that there's no way that'll be my life,
I know you'll always bring my heart to strife,
I know your words can cut deep like a knife,
I know that I don't want to be your wife.But I,
Must lie by your side,
Destructive kryptonite,
Stars shining so bright,
Just reliving a perfect night.Where the oceans breeze was fine,
When the food was divine,
And the way you made me shine,
Thats why,
I lay by your side.
