I was scolding you,
getting mad at you
for the littlest of things.
You thought I wanted to hurt you,
take pleasure in your pain.
Rejoice at the fact you were hurting.
But that's not what it was.
I may have blushed
when you told me I was pretty.
And a part of me
doesn't know what to do with that.
All you've been is nice to me.
And all I've been is mean to you.
I hope you can forgive me,
I'm sorry for hurting you.
