Insane (adj.) in a state of mind that prevents normal perception, behavior, or social interaction; seriously mentally ill.
Waking up in the middle of a dense forest, not knowing who I am or how I got there was nothing new. When I try to remember anything about the day before I get a pounding headache and everything goes white and I can feel my veins tremble.
As I stand up my head starts throbbing, struggling, I walk over to a big tree with long hanging branches and a thick trunk covered in moss to rest my head on the cool wet mossy bark. The feeling of the cold wet moss on my forehead makes my headache disappear, as if I've been imagining the whole thing. My eyes start to burn, then the taste of blood floods my mouth and I almost start to enjoy the familiar taste but then the sound of footsteps, heavy loud footsteps, crunching every leaf in its path made its way to my ear. Then everything went silent, as if someone hit mute on a controller, it almost hurts my ears hearing nothing but my own pulse. I slowly turned around and saw nothing but a pitch black face with stabbed out eyes. It wasn't human, it couldn't be, because the rest of its body was nothing but sharp, bloody bones. It was a walking skeleton but I could see chunks of flesh in between each vertebrae.
I was so scared that my legs wouldn't move. All I could do was watch myself trembling violently and listen to a little voice in my head screaming, almost screeching at me to look up. And that's what I did, I looked back up at its face and saw that its mouth was sewn shut with metal wire. Seeing that i thought to myself if I tried running it wouldn't be able to bite me or eat me, but I'd shortly learn I was so very wrong. It's as if it read my mind, maybe it did because it started to pry its mouth open with its sharp, bloody, bone fingers. The sound of the flesh being ripped apart by the wire was sickening. So I ran but it was already too late, the last wire stitch snapped and it was already behind me. No matter how many turns I took or how fast I ran it was always right behind me grinding its razor sharp teeth, and with my luck I tripped over a root. The thing just stared at me struggling to get up, as if it was thinking, but then it grabbed my leg and dug its sharp bone fingers into me.
