Choice of Love [Twice x Reader]*HIATUS*

3: Cold

3rd P.O.V.

Y/N was walking down the hallways on their way to class. Suddenly, they were on the floor and realized they had been shoved again. Y/N looked up at the person, only to meet eyes with the taller girl that was with Chaeyoung Earlier. The girl glared at Y/N and scoffed before continuing to walk forward without saying or doing anything more.

Y/N was dumbfounded on what had just happened. Again.

She/He got back up and continued walking to class slightly faster to not get embarrassed. Many thoughts were racing inside Y/N's head. The two girls were like complete oppossites! Chaeyoung was short and kind. Yet,  her "friend" was tall and cold. Y/N didn't know what They had done to get on the bad side of two people already. Y/N decided it would be a better idea to ignore what had just happened and try to be friends with that girl. They wanted to know if they had done anything wrong.

Once Y/N arrived to class, the teacher noticed them and ushered her/him to come in. Taking a deep breath, Y/N steps in and finds everyone staring at them. They weren't really comfortable with sudden attention and quickly looked down at their feet. Noticing the uncomfortable situation, the teacher clears her throat to break the tension.

"Students, please pay attention. This is our new transfer student. Please introduce yourself." Mrs Tokyo instructs.

Y/N slowly raises their head and nervously smiles.

"Good morning everyone, my name is L/N Y/N, pleased to meet you and treat me well please." Y/N then finishes off with a polite bow.

Standing back up straight, Y/N then looks around the classroom. At that moment, they recognize someone. It was the girl from earlier that bumped into Y/N. He/She makes eye contact with the girl for a second before the girl quickly averts her eyes as if she were avoiding Y/N.

Y/N's heart dropped. Why does this girl hate them so much? Had they done something wrong? Either way, Y/N was determined to make amends.

Y/n's P.O.V.

"Y/N, you can sit there, next to Chou Tzuyu. Raise your hand please Tzuyu." The girl slowly raises her hand, still no eye contact. "Right in the back there." Pointing directly next to the one person I wasn't expecting.

I walk over and take the seat next to her.

I take a deep breath and cleared my throat in order to gain her attention. I could feel the nervousness get to me, I couldn't help it though.

"Um.. Hey did I uh.. Do anything wrong?" I quickly ask as I turn to her. She looks at me.

I saw something in her dark eyes for a moment as if she wanted to say something but it quickly turned into a cold stare as she once again turns her head around and ignores me.

I just sigh before looking back at the teacher, trying to get thoughts out of my head.

*Time Skip*

I had just had a class with Chaeyoung and she asked if I would sit with her at lunch and meet her friends. I was reluctant at first but somehow, she was able to persuade me.

I had made some other friends as well. This guy named Kim Seokjin came up to me and started a conversation with me. He was really kind and funny and introduced me to some of his other friends, Kim Namjoon, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook. He had even invited me to sit with him, however I politely refused his offer since I already was going to sit with Chaeyoung.

While Seokjin and I were talking, I couldn't help but notice that in the corner of my eye, I would catch Tzuyu looking at me. Whenever we made eye contact, she would just look away and act as if nothing happened. So, I assuming she isn't up for being friends.

But her face would turn a bit red whenever I catch her. Is she okay? Maybe she's sick or has a fever. That makes a lot more sense and it explains why she's hasn't been talking to me.

3rd P.O.V.

What Y/N didn't know is that Tzuyu was not sick at all. Actually, she was very intrigued with Y/N. Earlier in the day, she saw Y/N looking at her. Completely unfazed. Most students would be drooling at the sight of her and her friends but not Y/N. Something was different about them.

Tzuyu was a shy person in general. She didn't like talking much, and she was anything but rude. However, she wanted Y/N to notice her and act the way everyone else does. She decided it was a good idea to ignore them in hopes that they would keep on trying to talk to her and the two of them eventually getting closer.

When Y/N gave her a smile, she could feel something that was indescribable. Something she had never felt before with her current lover. As much as she wanted to leave the relationship, she was scared. Scared of how he would take it. Scared of how people might treat her after. She shouldn't have accepted his feelings in the first place. Especially when she wasn't able to return them. Maybe if she just decided to stick up for herself, she wouldn't be in this toxic situation she was in now.

Tzuyu had all of these thoughts running through her head and yet, she had her emotionless cold face on. She was afraid that if someone were to come into her life, they might deceive her. The only ones she truly trusted were her best friends and family.

As much as she told herself to not let anyone in, Y/n kept on crossing her mind. She knew deep down that she knew what this was. She just didn't want to admit it. She knew Y/N being different made her feel this way and that she was right all along.

She settled a plan and went back to focusing on her work, however she couldn't help but secretly listen in on Y/n and Jin's conversation.
