Cosmos~

As much as I didn't like it, Percy Jackson was still a huge part of me. The memories and feelings I had could never fade...deep down I was still the same person, and I knew that. It didn't, however, mean I had to like it.

"Are you okay?" Luke asked me.

I shrugged, not looking at him.

"C'mon man. We are like brothers, talk to me."

"I love Camp Half Blood. It is my first home, the first place I ever loved and felt safe. I love the memories I have there, singing and laughing at the Campfire...on the road during my quests...eating blue food and sleeping in the Poseidon Cabin. But the people there make it hard. Luke...they destroyed me."

"I know Bud, trust me, I know."

"I know you know.  That is why I am ranting to you."

"But, hey, I don't have the best memories from that place either...just saying."

"I know, Luke.  I get that, I do...it is just...."

"I understand.  But thinking about it won't help.  Just keep your battle suit on at all times...we all have to anyway, concidering the fact that we are supposed to be dead. And your dad and uncles said they leaked fake information of your death.  So..."

"I know.  Thank our fathers for that."

"Yeah, it is amazing that we are supposed to be dead, isn't it.  I've always wanted to do that."

I gave him a weird look.

"I was being sarcastic!" Luke defended himself.

I chuckled and patted him on the back, and walked away to find someone else who is...kind of sane at least.

Pax walked up to me, smiling as I looked out my balcony.  The view of Chaos, despite the irony of the name, is a beautiful sight.  Honestly, it is better than Olympus, and that is saying something.  There is no words that can describe it propertly.

Pax-Calypso kissed me cheek and hugged me.  "I wanted to check on you.  Luke came back grumbling about....you having no sense of humor?"

"Don't listen to him, Luke Castellan is crazy."

She smiled but didn't say anything.

Before anyone mobs me, I want to clear up something.  Pax and I are not a couple.  We used to have a fling like a thousand years ago...but that isn't the point.  We are more like close siblings.

"Are you going to be okay?"

"Are you?  I could tell you are nervous about seing a certain son of Hephaestus named Leo Valdez."

She blushed bright red, and turned away slightly.  "Do you...approve if I say yes?"

I smiled.  It meant a lot that she was asking that.  "Yes, Leo is a good guy.  He didn't betray me, so I don't hold a grudge against him...I still consider him a good friend of mine.  Well...other then the fact that he thinks I am dead."

She laughed.  "You really are a strange guy."

"I know.  I am just special that way."

She smiled at me, touched my cheek in a sisterly affectionate way, and left.

I turned to look at the space above....Chaos, literally.

I groaned.  Bitterness, hate, sarrow, and anger built up inside me.

I know what you are thinking.  'People betrayed you years ago.  You are Immortal, get over it.  Ever hear about Benedict Arnold?  Get over yourself.'

But my fatal flaw is loyalty, it isn't that easy.

It is never that easy.
