The two men sat in the kitchen with a cup of coffee each.

"So," Jaebeom started and meet the other's gaze. "Jackson is wanted by the CIA because Ku Bonchul knows his ex-boss."

Jinyoung nodded slightly. "So that's why he's able to do what he does without being investigated."

"Sadly yes, but that's not the problem." Jaebeom stared out of the window and took a deep breath. "The thing is that I'm wanted as well."

Jinyoung raised a brow in a questioning manner.

"I worked for the CIA a few years back, and I straight out disobeyed my orders when I was on a mission in Shanghai."

A tense silence creeped over them. "I took a USB that my "boss" wanted, the USB had some of Ku's plans on it. That was probably why he wanted it personally," he continued. "I just disappeared from the radar after that."

He ran a hand through his hair. "I worked under the name of agent Echo and now CIA's boss knows that I'm in town."

Jinyoung closed his eyes and registered the new information that he got. "You don't know agent Delta by any chance?"

Jaebeom thought for a bit. "I heard other agents talk about him and he seemed to be great at his job, but I never meet him personally."

"You have already meet him."

"Wait..." Jaebeom started to put two and two together. "You're Delta."

"The one and only." Jinyoung sighed. "I too went against orders and now I don't know if I'm wanted or not."

Silence settled over them once again. They didn't know what else to say as both of them may be in trouble.

"I don't think that they know that you're here, or that you are a gang leader either. So you're safe for now, hopefully."

"But what happened with Jackson?"

"He was able to change contact information and change credit cards, and he laid low at one of his friend's place."

Jinyoung nodded. "Should we continue with the missing kids?"

Jaebeom was shocked. "Are you saying that we should stop?"

"I don't know, but if you're wanted and Ku knows that you have Hyunjin and we try to meddle more in his business... I don't want to see the outcome of it."

Jaebeom looked at Jinyoung as the other stood up and walked to the sink with their coffee cups. "I understand that your worried for his safety, I am too. Don't get me wrong, I love my son I do, more than anything in the world. But I don't want to leave those kids out there on their own."

The words that came out of Jaebeom's mouth hit him hard. Memories from his past woke up.

Tears started to roll down Jinyoung's cheeks and he slowly sank down to the floor. He leaned against the cupboard behind him.

The room suddenly felt a lot colder than before, goosebumps spread on his arms. He felt his heart break as it had done a few years earlier.

Jaebeom had observed Jinyoung as he had disappeared and now sat on the floor.

The chair scraped against the floor as he pushed it back and walked towards the other male.

He was meet by a sight that he never thought that he would see in this life, Park Jinyoung crying. He didn't really know how he should handle it, but he sat down next to him anyway.

"Come here." Jaebeom put an arm over Jinyoung's shoulders and stood up, taking Jinyoung with him in the process.

They walked towards the living room and sat down in the sofa.

Jaebeom looked at the person beside him, tears were still rolling down his cheeks and his eyes had became a little red and puffy.

He wrapped his arms around Jinyoung's frame, and Jinyoung responded by putting his head on the other's shoulder.

They sat in silence for a few minutes and Jaebeom felt his cheeks get a little warmer as he realised the position they were in.

Jaebeom was leaning against the armrest with his arms around Jinyoung, while the other sat in his lap with his head resting on Jaebeom's shoulder.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Jaebeom asked softly as Jinyoung's quiet sobs died down.

"Everything you said, about loving your son and things like that. I-I just feel awful."

"Why? You're an amazing father."

"Perhaps, but there's a little more to it." Jinyoung felt a little weird as he sat in Jaebeom's lap, head on his chest. "I was Delta, but like you, I disobeyed my orders and did what I thought that I had to do in order to be able to live with myself."

Jaebeom couldn't do anything more than to listen. "After the mission I went back home to Australia and  meet up with Mark like we said we would before he went back to LA to meet Yugyeom.

I came home to a dark and quiet house, and trust me, my house was never quiet. I walked to the front door and saw that it was unlocked, I just walked in and started shouting, wondering if anyone was home.

I had hired a babysitter but I found her dead in the living room, shoot twice in the chest and once in the head. I got panicked and rushed up the stairs to Chan's and Felix's shared room.

I found them huddled in the closet, tears streaming down their faces, and that's when I realised that someone was missing."

Jaebeom was a little shocked by Jinyoung's story. "Who were missing?"

"Felix's twin brother, my third son." New tears rolled down his cheek and he felt like a really bad parent. They never talked about him at home, but whenever Felix's birthday arrived, there would always be a a little pain, sorrow and guilt in the apartment.

Jaebeom had no idea how he should respond to what he just had learned. Jinyoung had a third son but he was kidnapped. The first thought that came to him was if Ku had anything to do with Jinyoung's missing son, but he didn't have the guts to ask.

"I know you're probably wondering why it happened." A sigh escaped his lips and he felt like he got heavier, he had never shared this with anyone before but he trusted Jaebeom. "The last mission I had was to retrive an USB from the french police in Paris, I didn't know anything about what was on it until the evening I was supposed to board the plane. I overheard my boss and another agent talking about Ku and how they needed to get the plans that were on the USB."

Jaebeom nodded slightly. "Did you already know about what kind of business that he were involved in?"

"I did, I had a mission in Osaka where he was involved. But that night was when I made up my mind and decided to take it for myself and just disappear." Jinyoung found himself thinking about what would've happened if he just took the USB back to Seoul. Would it have been any different? Maybe his family would have been whole if he did?

He was close to breaking down in tears again but the soft beating of Jaebeom's heart distracted him from his suffocating thoughts. Jinyoung didn't know why, but he felt a little safe in Jaebeom's warm embrace. There was something about it that made his heart flutter.

Jaebeom felt a little odd about the whole situation but when he heard the other's steady breathing it made him feel content. He looked down at Jinyoung and realised that he was fast asleep.

"You don't make things easy, do you?" he asked. "But I'm really gald that you trust me enough to tell me about this, I just hope that you're not hurting too much."
