I wake to empty beer bottles and sunlight. My eyes burn as I rake my hands through my hair once again not knowing how i got here.
In an attempt to leave, I fling my legs over the side of the bed and reach for my clothes my limbs failing miserably to get me to the door. I slump on the floor pulling my jeans and clothes on before trying again and making it down the vast hallway. Success, I think as I push the front door open and walk out looking for my car which I thankfully left here on the street in my drunken state. The door of the house swings open and a man appears as he tries to make his way down to my car but I'm already gone.
Pulling into my parents driveway i take my keys out the ignition and shut my eyes having the urge to sleep off my hangover right here. I sigh as I realise no one could give a shit if I sleep in my car as long as I don't disturb the 'peace'.
Lincoln:
"They want to expand headquarters sir" James mumbled to me as I watched the street through my glass tower. I ignore him and drift with the silence that follows. There are two knocks sharp and harsh on the door.
"Enter" I voice not bothering to turn around as heels click against the marbled floor.
"Sir i'm having a slight issue with my computer" she whines. I turn slowly knowing that high pitched squeal belongs to my assistant. She stands there in her flimsy work clothes, eyeing me up suggestively.
I sigh, knowing exactly why she wants me to go to her office with her and it's sure as hell not about a computer. She's been hanging off me since I used her for a quick fuck. I quickly dismiss her and tell her I'll be there in a minute.
She sure fucking hopes i will be. Instead i send James down to help her with her 'computer' just knowing she will come to me later and ask why i didn't 'help relieve her'
I should really find a new assistant.
