Louis' outburst was the new hot commodity in Hogwarts. For some people, it made them only desire him more and for others, it made them cautious. Though the Weasley couldn't care less about the hushed whispers that lurked the corridors.
He was over it because he was to his admittance—deprived of the one person that wasn't his family that he tolerated.
It came to his surprise on one of his days relaxing in his dorm alone when he got a sudden visitor. Who happened to be the person he was hopelessly longing for—Seo
"You sure made it a task in finding you, Weasel" Louis nearly choked as he turned to recognize the voice immediately.
His eyes widened at her sudden appearance," S-Seo?! What in...what are you doing here?"
Seo eyed the messy room and avoided his gaze for a moment as she tried to think of how to speak to the male," Just thought I'd check in on you"
"I thought you were mad at me" Louis admitted hesitantly, considering that he was sort of an arse to her a couple of days ago.
The female furrowed her brows while tilting her head in genuine confusion "Why would I be mad at you exactly?"
Louis was taken back at her question and tried to figure out what just occurred. He was sure, no he was definite that the encounter and his words led to her being angry.
"I just thought...that with how I wronged you for what you did the other day" He strained to clarify the events from a few days ago, though he was substantially feeling the mix-up now coming to the light.
"And you thought your words made me mad?" Seo questioned making him just nod," I was mad, to be quite honest, but not at you"
"Then" Louis then slumped his shoulder," What happened in the past couple of days?"
"If you are referring to where I have been" Seo started to explain," I was busy with tutoring some students that Professor Flitwick had referred to me. Apparently, his NEWT level students all had their hands full so he kindly asked me to help their students prepare for the OWLs"
Louis almost felt himself cringe at the idea of the exams. He was not lacking in any subject and was confident that he'd do fine, but he just knew that his dormmates, on the other hand, were going to rob him of his sleep.
He hated to admit it, but he knew the guys he shared a room with did not excel as much as he did. Though he couldn't help but think it was Karma, considering he probably kept them up late when he studied wanting to keep his own marks near perfect.
"So, I panicked for nothing" He mumbled under his breath as Seo couldn't help but feel the growing chuckle from through her throat.
It was purely random, bearing in mind with the situation, but it was just a reaction that somehow proceeded to happen.
The Weasley's head shot up at the sound, that he only heard from a distance. He was baffled, to say the least and confused at why she chose this moment to express the gesture.
"Well, if it puts your mind at ease, then I can assure you that I will not be disappearing, again" Seo kept her faint smile as she said those words
"That's honestly the best thing I've heard the past few days" Louis confessed as he leaned on his palm.
He didn't understand why but his eyes started to slightly sting.
A tear didn't fall, but he just felt so damn relieved. The female before him was a stir in his heart and now he was now coming into awareness of his growing affection for Seo Chang.
Louis then grinned remembered one important matter from a few days ago," Hey, so if I remember correctly, Seo, you called me Louis"
Seo averted her eyes but her cheeks betrayed her as it turned bright red.
