2020 . . . you brought the crazies.
I mean, apart from the natural disasters the world has encountered this year so far, Covid-19, or, more commonly known as 'the coronavirus', has taken over the world.
     First: what is Covid-19?

Most diseases that have ever spread in history has been a coronavirus. SARS, MERS, Ebola, etc. They were all called the coronavirus because, under microscopic lenses, the virus had what looked like a crown on the top of it. The word 'corona' means 'crown' in both Greek and Latin, which is why it is called the 'coronavirus'. Of course, the new virus only has 'coronavirus' as its name until an actual name is given to it.
In this case, this coronavirus was given the name 'Covid-19'.

This disease, from what I've heard, started in Wu Han, China

This disease, from what I've heard, started in Wu Han, China. It obviously spread through China, killed many innocent people, and had to be contained.
In my opinion, China did a very good job in containing the virus. Citizens abided by the laws, self-isolated, protected their loved ones, and healthcare workers spent their days and nights trying to save those who were infected. As a country, they all worked together so well to defeat the virus.
