Hi everyone, I am Ekta Jain. I am from India and this is my first attempt at writing fanfiction. I have stanned BTS for over 4 years now as they helped me through many, many rough times in my life. I've been reading BTS fanfics for close to 3 years now and I've been OBSESSED. Obsessed enough to finally have the courage to write my own.

Taekook is my ultimate ship and hence, my first story is dedicated to them. Please give it a read and let me know if you like it. I really hope that you all like it:)

Sunlight streamed into Jimin's room, through the french windows he had left open. A pleasant wind blew in and birds could be heard chirping outside, filling his pastel-themed room with positive vibes. Jimin, however, didn't share these positive feelings as he had just spilled coffee on his shirt.

A sudden vibration on the bed caught his attention. Dropping the napkin with which he was rubbing at the coffee stain, Jimin hunted around for the source of the vibration. Realizing he was sitting on his phone, he pulled it out from under him and opened it.

Alert: 1 new message from Yoongs

Jimin immediately opened the message, a smile blooming on his face before the messaging app could even open.

Jimin and Yoongi had met on Grindr two months ago. Jimin, who had recently started a new year at his college, realized that several people his age were already in relationships, both casual and serious. People even had multiple partners and he had not even had his first kiss. Feeling dejected and sexually frustrated, he ended up joining Grindr with high hopes. He knew he wasn't the best looking guy in the universe but he was still cute, so he was sure he would have at least a few good matches.

However, all his hopes went down the drain when everyone he matched with either asked him for sexual favors, even before asking him for his name or their conversations failed to elicit a spark. He had close to given up on finding anyone on the app when he matched with Yoongi. The second the two started chatting, they could not stop. They clicked like they were two adjacent pieces of a puzzle. Chatting for several hours a day, telling each other about the minutest details of their lives, and sharing memes and song recommendations became their daily routine. 

They were yet to meet face to face though. Jimin had developed very strong feelings for Yoongi but was too chicken to ever ask him out on a date. He was also hesitant to ask Yoongi out because Yoongi had never expressed a desire to meet him either.

Jimin's phone vibrated with a message again, shaking him out of his thoughts.
