The ride to LA in California wasn't that long from Arizona it just took a couple of hours or so but the ride was boring. I was just listening to music the whole time on the road trip. Once we arrived my mom told me to start unpacking and unloading the things off the moving truck and some other stuff from our car. I finished later and went straight to my new room and laid on my bed and started to just get on my phone and check my social media's like FB, Kik, Twitter, Gmail, Yahoo, and etc. Then I heard some teenager guys playing basketball and I decided to peak. The guys were cute but there was one that caught my eye and he looked like if he has about my age. Then I decided to go out there and see if I can play with them.
"hey mom can I go outside and check the neighborhood?" I ask my mom
"I don't know I don't want anything to happen to you" my mom said being all protective of me
"ill be fine mom plus we are here to start fresh remember mom? Plus I wont tell no one im gay ill just pretend I'm straight or ill make something up alright and you don't have to worry anymore" I told my mom making her change her mind
"okay you can go....just be safe and don't do anything stupid or something that will get you into trouble okay?" My mom said
"okay mom I will promise" I said as I gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek and went put the door
Once i was out I went to the next door neighbors house where I saw the guys playing basketball. When I got there one of the boys saw me.
"hey Hayes is that a friend of yours?" Cameron said
"no his not my friend in fact I've never seen him around here before?" Hays said
"um....sorry I didn't mean to intrude.....this was a bad idea ill just leave.....bye" I said feeling regret that I even came over being not invited, so I started to walk away
"hey man its cool" Cameron said
I turned around "you sure?" I asked
"yeah man its all cool.....um....wanna play with us and shot some hoops?" Hayes said
"yeah sounds awesome" I said
"okay before we start im Hayes and this is my big brother Nash, my friend Cameron, Shawn, and Araon" Hayes said has he hand shake my hand and introduce me to his brother and friends
"Hi im Piers.....Piers Anderson I just moved in" I said
"so your the new neighbor that just moved in okay" Nash said
"yeah haha" I said laughing a little
"wow I gotta go you guys my mom is calling me for dinner....it was nice meeting you Piers" Shawn said as he soon left
"Hey Cameron lets go to the skate park yeah?" Nash asked Cameron
"yeah sounds fun. Well ill see you later Hayes and you too piers and nice meeting you too and hope you go to the same high school as us" Cameron said as he soon left with Nash to skate park.
"well I guess its just you and me" Hayes said
"um....yeah....I think I should go now.....bye nice meeting you Hayes" I said and before could leave Hayes spoke
"wait up piers....do you want me to show you around so you can comfortable with the neighborhood?" Hayes offered me
"okay...." I said shyly
"don't worry man I don't bite haha" Hayes said jokingly
Hayes then went to go put on some new fresh good clothes before he can take me and show me around the neighborhood. It didn't took him long and we were on our way now. The tour that he gave was not to fast and not to slow. It was at a good pace and he invited me to eat In-N-Out after the tour he gave me.
"so what do you think piers?" Hayes asked me
"the burger is good" I responded but that's not what he meant
"hahaha no I mean what do you think of LA so far?" Hayes laughed a little and asked me again
"oh haha that's what you meant to say haha...i like it here its better where I used to live back where I live........um never mind" I responded to Hayes and stopped as I remembered that I told my mom I wouldn't say anything. Plus why would I wanna mess it all up now its going good for me so far and I intend to keep it that way now.
"is it that bad where you use to live that you can't tell me?" Hayes said
"um....well....its complicated....can we please talk about something else?" I asked
"aww come on piers you can trust me.....well kinda cuz you know we are barely getting to know each other so yeah haha but come man you can trust me plus I bet its not even tha-" Hayes said as I interrupted him
"Hayes your a good guy and a good friend so far but I don't wanna talk about it nor get into it right now or never okay?" I sad as I kinda made my voice sound a little bit to loud.
"dude piers come down I get it man I'm sorry.....plus no matter what you say or do you cant be able to run away from your past for that long......it will soon catch up to you sooner or later" Hayes told me
"you know what Im gonna go now bye" I said as I got up
"piers....dude look im sor-" Hayes said as I interrupted him again
"thanks for the tour and the food but I have to go bye....oh and I am going to the same school as you....so see you tomorrow Hayes" I said sounding a little mad and left

Dam it! I'm such an idiot why do I always have to get into other peoples shit that doesn't involve me in it. Oh I know cuz I'm always worrying about people and caring for them and trying to be a good person or friend but every time I try to help I always end up fucking up.

"so what up you seem pissed?" Nash asked
"nothing......i just....um I don't feel good the hamburger must've not go well with my stomach that's all" I lied to Nash and changing my mood
"okay then well we are here come you have to go to bed early because you have school tomorrow okay" Nash said as I went up to be and went to sleep.
Tomorrow at school I have to apologize to Piers hope he can forgive me.
