Looking over my shoulder, your breath was so sweet
I never imagined that your teeth would be so sharp
Curse that charming laughter, I cannot stand it
How easily you feigned that alluring innocence
And I could ask how you sleep at night
But I know that you never do
I knew you tossed and turned but I never knew why
Until I saw the wolves coat beneath sheep’s fleece
You were so beautiful it was haunting
Lend me your peace, even if only one day
You were beautiful and you were a liar
A fucking liar and you loved it
The world must revolve around us
Watch how the dove devours the vulture
Even your enemies can not save you now
Follow you blind or leave me behind
The hours became so narrow
I followed you through the storm
But I took your red flags as character
Instead of warning signs
