Chapter Ten

Anya's POV

We all put on our outfits from the basement so we look not there to hurt them. The last thing we need is them to notify someone of our presence there.

"Now remember where you go to get people and where we meet up." I say. Hayley and Cassie nod.

We head down to the basement bats in hand. I head down my side to go get everyone.

I go through unlocking every cage. They all follow me slightly limping as some were very weak.

When we got to the trap door both Hayley and Cassie are there. All of the people on their sides next to them.

"Everyone lean against the wall and rest for a second while we open the trapdoor." I say.

"Ok let's get this thing open." I say.

I search for the key to unlock the trap boor. We find a keys that is rusted sightly. This should be it. I bring the key over and unlock the trapdoor. To my surprise the old key works. I take to lock off. Me, Cassie, and Hayley manage to pry the old door open.
We all escape safely.

"Come on." I motion going the way i went last time.

We get to town.

"Ok we're close so now we can divide the group." I say.

"Ok so half with me half with her." I say.

"Cassie you go with me." I say.

Cassie nods we separate the group in half some boys and some girls.

"Ok my group follow me." I say.

I lead my group to my house.

"Ok everyone go inside." I say.

Everyone walks in the house.

"Ok everyone please take a seat in the floor." I say.

I explain the plan to the group. They all nod in understanding.

"Ok so I will try to find a blanket for everyone for big blankets two people share." I say. "Any question?" I ask everyone stays silent.

I walk to my room and Amelia's I try to find all the spare blankets.

I pass out blankets and pillows to everyone luckily having enough but many have to share.

I walk into my kitchen and pull out my phone. I call my parents.

"Hello." My dad says.

"Hey Dad can you and Mom keep Amelia until further notice? I have a lot of things to do." I ask.

"Yes of course." Dad says.

"Thanks Dad I love you." I say.

"Love you too." My dad says before hanging up.

I sigh. It's gonna be a long year.

I head up stairs. I take off my clothes and crawl into bed in just my bra and underwear. I fall asleep instently my body dead.

The next morning...

I wake up and go downstairs. Everyone lays close together asleep. All of them will probably sleep for a few days they haven't slept well in years.

I go upstairs and get dressed. Me and Hayley go house shopping today. Man I just moved now I gotta move again.



I walk out of the house and grab my phone. I see a text from Hayley.

Hayley - I'm here come on out.
