practice for them was hell to put it simply

they were both pouring in all of their emotions to make it work

but in the end they just weren't mixing properly

the pair stood out in the hall as sean tried his best to talk kaycee down as she cried into his shirt during their break

tessandra gave him an extra twenty minutes to try and calm her down

sean wasn't much of a crier but he'd be lying he he said he didn't left a few tears out

" i think we should just call it for today kayc"

" we have three hours left " she responded through sniffles

"it's too much." he choked

sean felt her grip tighten around him

it had been three days since their initial session

they pulled it together the first two times

but today was different for some reason

an hour in they wre tripping all over each other
failing to do lifts
and missing beats
they were more frustrated with themselves than tessandra was with them

"tess, you gotta send them home." tim told her

"i already tried that, they asked for a break instead." she sighed

they stood in the doorway, they could see the two but they couldn't hear them
"i just don't know what's going on with them, i thought i knew, but maybe not."

"i don't think they know either to be honest."

they had ten minutes left in their break
it went by slowly to say the least

"sean." she tried after a while

he wouldn't respond, he couldn't respond

and she knew he was blaming himself
just as he knew she was doing the same

so they stood there for the reminder of the time

they tried to get it together the best they could

after thirty minutes tessandra sent them home and refused to hear arguments about it

which was followed by about thirty more minutes of sitting in sean's car debating who's house to go to

neither of them could be alone right now

in the end they picked sean's
his family were generally out till late and kaycee was still underfire for her outburst days prior

the drive was silent
when they got to sean's house it was straight upstairs

they had both showered and neither were hungry by eight

they just kind layed on his bed for a decent amount of time before someone came home

sean had forgotten that she was in town for the weekend
