chapter 2 Flight

3rd Person POV

A gloomy girl with a blonde short hair with red ends watches her elder sisters waves at her with their Father who would walk them to Signal Academy for their first day of school

"i really want to go with them, if only dad would have atleast let me enter school early" she mumbles to herself while patting a puppy corgi who was sleeping on her lap,

she then see them walking without giving any second thought the girl puts on her shoes and slings the backpack with materials like the one with Ruby and Yang,

she was really eager to start this year thinking if she could catch up with them maybe she can force her dad to let her enter Signal Academy along with her elder sister Ruby,

she walked down the stairs then climbed up and pass the window running while looking at the area she think they went which seems to be very far considering the time it took her to prepare her stuff and finding an unlocked exit from the house,

she ran as fast as she could tripping at the roots of the trees tripping on small rocks just to catch up with her Father and elder sisters,

but she was only guessing the areas they went with full sprint and it left her tripping on another root.

Sangria POV

"how far could they have gone?!" i said to myself while panting really hard,

i looked around me and im still surrounded nothing but trees then i hear a bark that i realize who, "ZWEI!?" i kneel down to pat my panting puppy,

"you shouldnt be here buddy, what if dad will come home and find both of us gone?" i scolded him then he licked my face making me laugh and calm myself

"okay okay you win" i put him down and rub my knees

"guess we should get back, can u lead the way boy?" zwei gave me a bark as a sign that he said yes,

We walked silently and making sure not to trip into some roots or rocks but then we heard something on the bushes right beside us, it made zwei bark at it, i slowly made my way to Zwei and picked him up, as i know what creature is behind those bushes are,

"okay zwei... Lets slowly make our way back okay... Everything will be fine boy...you can stop barking.." i whispered to reassure him and myself that we will be alright as he stopped barking i could see the beak and the eye of the Grimm poking his way out of the bushes towards us,

Zwei begins to growl at the upcoming Nevermore then i covered his mouth as i walked backwards till i accidentally tripped on a root and dropped zwei along with my bag,

The Nevermore showing its gigantic self staring at me and Zwei who is barking at it, i stare at the Nevermore frozen and afraid of what it might do, i crawled back away from it but i feel a the tree pressed on my back, im scared

"please leave us alone..." i said on a terrified tone hoping it would leave us alone, i feel tears falling down my eyes, i want my Big sis and Sis with Dad im scared...

The Nevermore releases a really loud sound then i scopped zwei and ran to an area that is an open space

"which... Which way?? This is where Sis and Big Sis train we have to be ne--" i was stopped when i heared the loud sound that belonged to the Nevermore as it flew up the trees and spotted me and zwei, it wasted no time that it dived down us, everything was too fast as i ran carrying zwei knowing it would get us no matter what would happen i threw zwei to the side and then the nevermore picked me up by my arm and shoulder as it flies up in the air digging its claws causing my shoulder and arm to bleed, they hurt...

"L-Let me go!!" i screamed at the Nevermore who was flying really fast and high to i dont know where, my vision started to turn blur because of my lost of blood

"n-no..." i whispered down my breath as i felt something flowing to my arm and shoulder, something glowing?? The claws that was digging to my skin went through letting my fall down, i still has the glowing thing now around my whole body,

I see the nevermore diving down now with its beak open that could directly eat me in half..

I was scared really scared tears flow out off my eyes as im still falling, i closed my eyes thinking how would Dad feel when im gone? How would Sis and Big Sis feel? Will i finally see mom? Those were the questiones that ran in my head,

I feel something hit the side of my back then i continue to fall till all of my vision went black.....

??? POV

I was walking on the path towards my home with nothing but the sound of my drinks clanking on my bag till i heard the sound of trees breaking,

I look to see what caused it and i see a child younger than my son with her aura covering her she must have fallen down and landed on the trees with her aura activated but why? I then look up and see a Nevermore making its landing down us

I take out my gun that loads fire dust and shoots its open mouth, its roars as it is in pain then it flies away like what would an old and Knowledgable grimm would do "Thats right run away you piece of sh@$"

I stare down at the child her aura disappears and her wounds not healed fully "a young kid unlocked her aura younger than my kid huh" i said and moved the wood around her and carries her to my house up the mountains I see my son Mercury hitting a punching bag repeatedly as i told him to but he is doing it weakly,

"fath--" he stops as he saw me carrying my bag of bottles and a child

"did i tell you stop training?! Your hitting them weakly are you asking to get beaten up?!" i screamed at him angrily i want my son to become an assassin like me better than me and not some weakling,

"get in a patch her up" i drop the kid like a ragdoll, i better not see you within 10 minutes for you spar training, i open the door and slams it close.

Mercury POV

I walk tiredly to the child my father dropped like she was nothing, why would he do that?! I stare at her seeing her injuries still bleeding out i hurriedly pick her up and ran to my room putting her on my bed and patch her wounds up,

"those are going to leave scars..." i said to myself, i put away the first aid kit and rolls some bandages to my arms and legs and gets ready for my fathers training..well more like beating me up like a punching bag

I sighed and place a blanket on the girl wondering why would my father bring her here,

It has not even reached 10 minutes i hear my father slam the door open outside and screaming my name, i swear one day he wont live to see the day of the killer he is going to create...

yo so idk what is Marcus Black's weapon im just guesing but i sure do hope it aint just a gun, Mercury is one of my favorite characters in RWBY i like his characteristics and backstory and i do hope they explore more of mah boi.... With that said
