Nicole's POV
Me and char had slept in a tree as hybrids, Elisa and Cath had found a cave next to our tree, and Evan and Lina where in the lake.
When I woke up today, I heard a beeping noise. Me, being me, thought it was my alarm clock and my arm reached out to whack it. When I did, I fell out of the tree.
A tractor was there, bleeping, cutting down all the trees.
""CHAR! Get out!" I screamed causing her to fall out too. We ran to Elisa and Cath's cave. We dived inside, waking them up. Urging them to stop their snoring, stop their whining and get Evan and Lina out.
Me and Char ran far back to the tractor. I dived into the lake, sending ripples of water to splash out.
I grabbed Lina's hand as she grasped Evan's in her own. With much effort, and some pushing, we managed to get out. The tractor had gone by, so we explained. I looked around the forest. We had to go. Now.
"We have to go. Now. We're not safe here." Char said, stating my point before I had time to say it.
