16. uh oh

I woke up and Axel was gone again. He left a note on my forehead.... I have no clue how I slept through that.

hey baby I love you and I'm sorry I'm gone before you could wake up. You can drive today to school and come to the warehouse after and I will start training you a little bit

He can be such a softie sometimes I swear.

I got in the shower and rinsed my hair with water so it would be less drenched and weighed down with gel. I wanted to wear it out curly today.

After I got out the shower I brushed my teeth and hair and then got dressed.

I'm feeling cute. So I threw on a floral float crop too and skirt two piece outfit and some flip flops. We live right on the outskirts of Cali in Arizona. The heat is almost always real.

I put on about seven Alex and Ani bracelets because I like to feel them on my wrist for some reason.

I decorated my neck with a thin chain Axel bought me from some jewelry place and added a Jesus pendant. I didn't feel like layering jewelry today.

I looked in the full body mirror and admired myself for a minute and then went downstairs.

"Hi Maxie baby", I said looking at my adorable puppy wagging his tail.

"Breakfast", I asked him in a puppy voice.

He barked back at me with his tongue hanging out his mouth.

"You are the cutest thing ever", I said feeding him.

I washed my hands then started to prepare my own breakfast.

A plain bagel with some butter, some mangos, and a Green Machine Naked. My go to.

I ate pretty quickly because time was running out.

I got to the garage and saw another note.

Do not pick anyone up or let anyone drive one of MY cars. I am letting you borrow one. Be responsible. The car better look exactly how it does while you are looking at it right now.

He kills me. How can I show my friends I'm driving if I can't even pick one of them up. I can't even show the beautiful Jeepness off for real.

I got in the pink and white Jeep that I know is for me but he's saying it his car because I don't pay for it.

I drove to school blasting my old high school musical jams and some cheetah girls in the mix. I pulled up next to Genni. She basically drove a different car everyday. I'm pretty sure her dom wanted her to test cars out to be honest.

"Bitchhhhh", she said excited getting out the car.

"Look who's got some wheels", she joked.

"I know I'm just like you", I said smiling at her.

I just love how all my friends are so beautiful naturally.

Genni literally wore a grey Nike sweatsuit with some Air Force 1's and looks like a model.

"Where's Tati", I asked.

"Trouble", she laughed.

"Omg not again what this time", I said.

"She took one of his gun and had it in her car he gave her. She said it was because she felt followed but he still got mad so yup. I only know because Chris needed to get something over there and he just walked in and he was fussing", she said. Genni always knows any and everything.

"Yeah well maybe if she stopped doing stupid stuff like that", I laughed.

We both knew Hadley had the stomach bug so I didn't even ask about her. Just me and Genni today.

"After first wanna skip", Genni asked.

"Genevieve no", I said sternly.

"Lani cmonnnn", she begged.

"Axel is finally trusting me to drive and to have some freedom I can't lose his trust", I said.

"Ugh fine", she said rolling her eyes.

We spent the whole school day basically by eachothers sides like usual.

I can't stand other people and Axel has made it hard for people to feel safe or normal around me. It really sucks sometimes but I'm okay with the life I live.

We were walking to the parking lot when I noticed some stupid 31 junior silly stringing my car.

Senior pranks.

"What the hell", I yelled running to the car. Genni running not far behind.

They ran off before I could even see their faces but they had on 31 sweatshirts... I knew it was one of them.

"Damn they got us", Genni sighed.

I was frozen.

"What's wrong babe", she asked.

"Axel  said come straight to the warehouse and to be responsible and keep the car clean and the way I found it and it is trashed.

I accidentally left the windows cracked and silly string was inside too. Not to mention it was drying up.

"It's fine we can get it washed right now", she said. 

"I can't I have to pay and he will se my card history and ask about it.

"Okay so you think going to the warehouse is a good idea", Genni asked.

"Ugh I don't know... fuck", I said throwing my book bag at the car.

*bang*

My eyes went wide. I did not even want to believe my eyes.

My fucking computer made a dent in the ass of the Jeep. It was noticeable. It looked like a crater in the fucking moon.

My ass is definitely grass.
