I was woken by my bestfriend Penelope.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT" I screamed at her.
"it's time for the battle meeting, get ready." is all she said before walking out of the room.
My pack was getting ready for war soon and they were going to attack the Silver Death pack. I have yet to find my mate and I hope I find him soon. Apparently, the Silver Death pack killed a lot of our pack members and Alpha Gunner wants revenge.
I get up and go into the bathroom and look in the mirror. I wash my face with water and start up the shower, I undress and step in.
AFTER THE SHOWER_____
I pick out an outfit that concludes of jeans, a tee shirt, and a black hoodie. I start to walk down stairs and meet Penelope halfway down and see her in distress sitting on one of the steps.
"Hey, what's wrong penny?" she faces me with teary eyes.
"Oh it's nothing," she wipes her eyes.
"Penny. Really? I know you" I say.
"its just, I'm really scared rin the war is coming soon and there's always a chance we could die. I know I shouldn't think like this but it's still scary to me." she says with fear in her eyes.
"I know penny, but we have to stay positive and hope for the best." I give her a slight smile.
I know this war won't be very good considering the Silver Death pack is very powerful, I mean we are too but they train 24/7, I've heard stories that they don't stop training until their unconscious. But that may be false information.
Penelope pulls me out of my thoughts.
"it's time to go to the meeting rin."
"okay"
As we get outside everyone is already out here except the alpha. I never noticed how many people we have in our pack until now. I feel like having meetings outside all together is kind of stupid I mean, you basically sitting ducks if someone attacks with a whole pack. But I guess it's good because your all together so you can fight together.
I see Alpha Gunner come onto the stage with a worried look on his face.
He adjusts the microphone and holds it to his mouth.
"Hello everyone, as you all know we have a war planned and we will fight very soon against the Silver Death pack. I know you all may be fearful of your lives, but we must get revenge after they practically almost wiped us out. The war will be in neutral grounds, not our grounds and not their grounds. Does anyone have any questions about the war?"
I raise my hand. "Don't you think this is a bit unnecessary? a whole war for revenge? if they beat us last time what makes things any different this time?"
"DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME YOU DUMB MUTT, THEY ALMOST WIPED THIS WHOLE PACK OUT."
"I understand that Alpha Gunner, but I honestly don't think its worth our time and effort to fight a battle were not going to win."
"I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY, THIS PACK WILL FIGHT AND BEAT THE SILVER DEATH PACK AND THAT'S FINAL" He stomps off the stage and transforms into his wolf.
Everyone looks at me admiringly. I hate stares especially if their at me. They must agree with me, but sadly Alpha is the Alpha and he's in charge of this pack. My saying doesn't mean much.
"well, I guess were fighting" I say and look at penny.
She looks back at me with sad eyes.
"I guess we are" she says.
