"Anywho, I'd hate to keep your parents waiting Callie." She said.

"My parents?"

"You betcha! They want to meet Leo and congratulate you on the Final Ceremony."

Makes sense. "Okay, better do it now before I get side tracked." I took Leo's hand and started to lead him out the door.

"Oh, and Callie?" Emmaline asked.

I turned to face her, "Yes?"

"Don't think I didn't notice your lack of attention during the Ceremony . . . We will discuss that later."

I knocked on the door of my parent's house with Leo nervously behind me. "Relax my parents don't know anything about you." I tried to calm him down.

"What about your brother?"

"David, he knows the better part of the story but we've already talked it out so don't expect any attacks from him or he will be loosing an important in-between-the-legs aspect." I winked and he seemed to relax slightly or at least until the door opened and a calm but not to pleased David opened the door and let us in.

"Callie?" I heard a voice call and saw my mother entering the room. "Aww sweetie I'm so proud of you!"

She engulfed me in a bear hug but quickly shoved me back when she noticed Leo behind me. "You must be the mate. You don't know how happy I was hearing that Callie had finally found her mate! It was about time."

"I beg to differ" My father's voice interjected. "It could have waited a few years."

"Oh don't mind him, he's just sad that his baby girl is growing up." Her eyes widened, "Speaking of babies . . ."

"No!" My father and David cried together.

My mother just rose her hands up in the air, "A mother can only wish."

Leo laughed awkwardly obviously not really liking the direction of the conversation.

"Hey, Leo?" David said. "Follow me into the kitchen for a minute please."

I watched as they both left and as soon as they were gone I turned back to my parents.

"You need to visit more often sweetie, I didn't even get to speak to you at the Final Ceremony."

I gave her an apologetic smile, "Yeah, sorry about that."

"I'll tell you what, sit down and lets catch us up on all the gossip I've been missing."

I filled my mother in on everything and once I was done, I looked around to find Leo and David had returned. I also noticed that Leo seemed to be a bit paler than before.

"Callie, as much as I'd hate to tear you away from your family we still have to talk to Devin and Than before the end of the day." Said Leo.

"You're right, thanks for the reminder." I smiled at him and turned to my parents giving them a quick goodbye before leaving.

On the way back to the castle I turned to Leo, "So what did David talk to you about?"

"He was just . . . reminding me of what I've done to hurt you in the past and that if I do it again he will send me to hell to get my soul sucked out by dementors." I laughed as I heard him mutter under his breath, "I personally would have preferred the Volturi."

"Twilight fan?" I asked.

"N-No."

"Hey it's okay, everyone has their guilty pleasures." Yours Just isn't the best, I thought to myself. I didn't exactly want to say anything aloud because I didn't want Leo to feel bad, aww aren't I just the nicest sometimes?

"Yeah, I guess." Leo muttered.

"Hey, common Dev and Than are waiting and you know how Than can get." I said.

"Actually I don't."

"Well you will find out soon enough." I laughed. Than had no patience whatsoever and it can be a pain and soon Leo will get to share that with me.

"Lucky me," Leo groaned obviously imagining the scenario.

I just laughed and kept walking.
