Chapter 4

I woke up, did my morning routine and got ready for school. I texted Cesar good morning and was headed towards school.
"why do you leave early"he said
"i smoke on my way to school" i replied
"eres mala, sabes" he said
"si yo lo se" i replied
i'm really liking Cesar and i can tell he likes me too.
Cesar's P.O.V
i woke up and texted Danz and i got a feeling. a feeling like a crush. i really like this girl. My phone then started blowi nt yo with texts from Monse, Ruby, and Jamal
Jamal and Ruby called me .
J:we have something to tell you
R: it's about Monse
C:what about her now
R:quick question, what did you and Danz do las night
J:ohhhhh
C:we fell asleep
J:we thought you was getting it on
C:what? no? does this call have a point or no
J:calm down
R:let's say we were snooping and
C:and?
J:monse said she's going to get with you because she doesn't want you guys to be together

C:wait? are you serious?
J:yeah
R:she was telling Jasmine this
C:Well the. i guess i know to stay awa feo

J:yeah cus this bitch went bonkers
R:what do you be doing to these girls that make them go crazy
C:i don't even talk to girl
J:well you must be doing something

C:i'll meet y'all at school
R:we're outside your house
C:then i'll meet y'all outside

J:shouldn't we wait for Danz
C:she already left
J:this early ?
C:yeah, she said she smokes on her way to school
R:what a babe
C:heyyyy, i like her
J: well then both of y'all better scoot over bc she's going to be mine
R:very funny
C:stop playing
we all headed to school and went about our day. For the next 2-3 months i'd hang out with Danz and the gang. Danz and I started having a thing so i know she's interested . Sooner or later we'll be together. Monse didn't seem like she was going crazy or even trying to get with me. Maybe she finally realized her own feelings and finally gave us a rest.
*saturday*
Danz P.O.V
I've been hanging out with everybody and Monse and I are friends now and doesn't seem bothered that Cesar and I are getting close. Maybe she's cool after all. Every single day it was school, my house, sleep and all over again. I was enjoying Ridgewood. Everyone at Brentwood would judge me for smoking, the people i hung out without, or for how late i'd start out for. But here, i was free. Everybody did that same and it was fun.
Today I was just hanging out with Jamal and Ruby and i didn't mind i wanted to get to k ow them. We hit up the shops, went to the park and sparked
R:You are so cool
J:yeah you really are
D:i appreciate that
we all looked at each other and realized how low our eyes were. Ruby's looked like they were all the way closed . we all just laughed.
R:how are you and Cesar
D:idk, i really like him. he seems to like me. Maybe something happens
J:you make him very happy
D:really
R:yeah
J:he wasnt like this with Monse
R: they'd have food times but there was aways something to kill it
D:She seems cool
R:now she does
J:i feel like she find o some crazy stuff but idk. i might just be wrong
D:Whatever it is. i don't wanna get involved. i hate drama
R:then you're in for a ride
we laughed
R: let go to my house i got the munchies
J&D: LETS GOOO
we headed towards his house and invited Monse, Cesar, and Jasmine
We all sat on the couch and Ruby came back with snacks
R:eat compas
We all watched a movie and Cesar was inbetween my legs
I could tell Monse was staring at us from time to time but it was an angry stare. like she had a problem. It got late and that's when we all decided to go home.
we all said bye to ruby and headed out
Jamal was talking to me and i was stretching and i just gave him a hug
J: you smell like a baby
he said gladly
D:thank you i said laughing
J: hold up let me get another whiff
C:okay calm down
Cesar and I went one direction and Monse and Jamal went true other.
C:i really like you Danz
D:i like you too
C: i hope you'll give me a chance
D:soon i'm still getting to know you
C:Do you like what you already know?
D: very much
we got to the front of my house
C:good nite beautiful
D:good nite handsome
and we went i went inside
The next week Cesar and I started working at Jamals dad restaurant. It was fun we'd see eachother everyday and sometime stay there late to talk or play card games with Jamal. Life was good.
