Daughter of the Lion

Chapter 2

Lucy woke the next morning to see Kiara still fast asleep, climbing from the bed carefully she went into the kitchen to make some breakfast. But then a thought hit her, Kiara needed some new clothes to wear. Walking over to her keys Lucy quickly summoned Virgo and ashed her to bring some clothes in Kiara's size, once she had gone Lucy continued with breakfast. As Lucy cooked she heard some noise coming from her bedroom, walking in she saw Virgo almost in awe of Kiara.

"Hey Virgo, thanks for the clothes." Lucy said looking at her faithful spirit. "Is everything ok?"

"Oh yes princess." Virgo said snapping out of her daze. "I was just talking with the young princess."

"Young princess!" Kiara cried with a chuckle. "You're super funny Virgo, I hope we can be friends!"

Virgo simply nodded and then placed the clothes bundle on the bed, then with a small bow she vanished back into the spirit world.

"That was weird, but then again she always is weird. If you want Kiara you can shower and then get changed, breakfast is almost ready."  Lucy said smiling.

Kiara smiled and then ran her hands through her hair, it was a total mess right now due to her having slept so well. So picking up the clothes left for her she followed Lucy to the bathroom, starting the shower Kiara let it warm up and then stepped in. The warm water crashed over her body as she sighed happily, she had been having quick washes in streams and fountains for months so having a warm shower was amazing. After she was done she dried her self and then looked at the clothes, it was a green dress with gold accents, it had a brown belt with key pouch and had matching brown boots. Once dressed Kiara made her way into the kitchen to find food waiting for her on the table, pancakes with syrup and a tall glass of orange juice.

"Thank you so much Lucy!" Kiara called as she began to eat, feeling extremely hungry.

Kiara continued to eat before cleaning her plate and glass, and once Lucy had finished getting ready for the day the two made their way to the guild hall. Once there NAtsu quickly made his way over to Lucy and pulled her into his arms, smirking Kiara made her way over to one of the guild halls many benches. Sitting down she observed her new home, she loved the guild already. But something bothered her, almost like someone was watching her. A sudden chill spread down her arms and she could feel her temperature begin to rise, knowing what was about to come she ran out of the guild as quickly as she could. Soon finding her self alone she concentrated hard on the wall in front of her. Holding her hand out a vibrant golden glow surrounded it, focusing hard she cried out.

"Regulus impact!" Kiara cried letting the light flow out of her.

Once finished Kiara fell back with a heavy sigh, she was exhausted but could feel her temperature go down. Feeling another pull on her magic she looked and saw her spirit Orion looking down at her. Orion was tall and well built, with her long brown hair tied into a high pony tail and her brown eyes quickly surveying the situation. Orion was wearing a cream top with animal fur jacket, on her waist was a sword and on her back a bow and quiver. Her trousers were a dark brown with knee high black boots lined with fur, sighing she bent down and picked up Kiara.

"You can't keep doing this you know." She said as she carried Kiara back to the guild hall.

"I have to, I don't know what else to do." Kiara said tiredly.

"Keep one of us out for a long time, it might help. I know we're only silver keys but you've worked hard to help make us stronger. No one ever expected us to get this strong, and it's all thanks to you." Orion said softly. "But you need to take care of your self too, ask that girl you've been hanging around with. See if she knows a reason why this might be happening and how to help you."
