"B..Blake?"

I stuttered. His head instantly snapped towards me. His gaze bore into me, making me shiver.

"What?!"

He bit out harshly, anger evident in his voice. What was wrong with him?? What did I do to make him this angry??

"Ar..are you a-"

"Aimee? Aimee!! There you are. Where have you- Oh!!"

Blair stopped talking as she noticed who was standing looking very pissed in front of me. Blake straightened up and looked into her eyes. She flinched and bent her head towards him. What was happening??

*Aimee I have something to tell you*

Aurelia's worried voice filled my head. I bit my lip. I had a bad feeling about this.

"Happy birthday Blair. Tell David the same."

Blake nodded towards Blair before turning to look at me.

"I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again soon Clutz."

And with that he strode away proudly. Blair looked at me with a cheeky smile before pulling me away towards the car. We got in and Blair got in the drivers seat. She hadn't even put the key in the ignition before she spun around to face me, smiling.

"Spill!"

She ordered, leaning on her hands to look up at me. I looked at her for a second before bursting out laughing. She looked at me like I was insane so I sobered up pretty quickly. And looked her straight in the eyes.

"Nothing happened. I bumped into him, literally. I fell onto the ground and he helped me up, still managing to be a dickhead at the same time."

"He's not really a dickhead. He may seem cold and unfriendly but really he is caring and kind. Things have happened him that barely anyone can say the same about themselves. Blake has built up his walls pretty high, but I know that if the right girl has the hammer, those walls will come crumbling down. His icy exterior is just a mask. People stay away from him because of it but those who have managed to break themselves a hole in his wall are both protected and cared for."

Blair spoke about him with such passion that my admiration and pity towards him couldn't help but grow. But one thing was still nagging at me...Was Blake really a werewolf??

"Hey Aimee."

"Hi Aimee "

"Ah hiya Aimee."

A chorus of greetings wafted around the room as I walked into Blairs house. I waved to them all before sitting down on the sofa.

"Okay, Amelia did you bring the costumes??"

"Of course I did."

Amelia placed five bags on the bed. Excitement bubbled up inside of me, making me giddy.

"Okay, first we will do our hair, then eat, then do our make up and then put on the costumes."

Blair announced, rather formally. We could all tell that she was trying to contain her excitement, but it was Blair. Staying calm was not in her vocabulary. We sat around talking before Blairs cousin Victoria arrived. She looked kinda funky. She wore neon lace over black tights with shorts and braces. Her hair was a chestnut brown colour, straightened so that it floated gracefully past her shoulders. She seemed so nice, yet I couldn't help but feel the slightest bit offended when she walked in saying.
