I love you
Words that flow from the brain and foam at the mouth untill it's spills out.
Three simple, heart crushing, stomach churning words.
I love you
Like homemade apple pie
And fresh strawberries picked from fields when the sun was shining
I love you
Like the words you say after you fuck up
Or have nothing else to back you up
I love you
Like rose petal lips touching razor blades
And hands on places you can never quite forget
I love you
Like tears spilling over eye lids and guilt eating at my chest
I love you
Like butterflies in pits of stomach and fireworks in skies
I love you
Like staring into your soul and deep dark secrets that never leave you
I love you
Like thoughts that consume me and never go
I love you
Like dreams and nightmares and I can't quite tell the difference anymore.
What am I living in?
I love you
I can tell when you're lying.
Funny how well we know eachother
I love you
Like a sickness that I don't want to leave
How long can I stay this way before I turn into poison.
I love you
Like we are Romeo and Juliet who gifted roofied drinks to eachother
I love you
Like traps we set up together and fell into just the same
I love you
Like The stinging of words in our poetry we write to eachother, love letters with just a sour twist desgiused in sugar
I love you
Like evening purrs of sweet nothings
I love you
I think
What is love?
Is it blood and black eyes or tugged lips with teeth.
Is it love letters written in meadows
The greatest poets know how to hide the miserys
I guess you could call it a fairy tale.
I love you
Truly
