Chaeyoung took a bite from the cookie she was holding before answering, "Someone called him and he had to take it outside." I furrowed my eyebrows and realized that it must be his mother again.

"Let's meet him in our next class." Jennie tugged my sleeve, "Did he text you?"

I checked my phone, only to see no message from him. I shook my head in response. "Maybe he'd be here in a few minutes."

Jennie nodded and pulled me with them as they walked back to the corridors to where our next room should be. I glanced back, hoping to see V approaching us but he was still nowhere to be found.

Our last class ended with V still not messaging me about his whereabouts and with my friends constantly asking where V is in our group chat. Unfortunately, the man in question didn't even respond or checked the group chat.

Inside our dorm room, Lisa still isn't acknowledging my presence even after Jennie and Chaeyoung tried to talk to her to make up with me; the girl would just look at me with her big sad eyes before looking away and proceeding to ignoring me once again. And with her ignoring me at the same time as V's ignoring all of us, I decided to go to BTS to check if the latter came for his duty tonight.

Coming inside the restaurant, some of the crew greeted me with a smile although Yoongi looked shocked when he saw me enter the premises alone. He slowly went out behind his counter and walked me to a vacant table for us to sit. "Where's your boyfriend?", he asked, confused.

"I came here hoping to see him working..." I said, "But I guess he's not here either." I smiled though disappointed.

Yoongi scratched his neck, "Did the two of you fight?" I shook my head. "Are you sure?", he pressed, sounding unconvinced.

"Yes, I am." I told him, "We just came back from a trip. What would we fight about?"

He shrugged. "Maybe about that boy you hang out with all the time.."

I creased my forehead in confusion, "Who?"

"Isn't it Eunwoo? I heard him mutter that name in disgust when I asked him about you on Valentines' day." he sighed, "But that happened days ago already. Maybe it's not about that then..."

"Why are you telling me this now all of a sudden?" I suddenly felt embarrassed just thinking of what else V says to his older cousin.

Yoongi gave me a cute gummy smile, "I just want to point out that Taehyung likes you a lot and he's just not that good in expressing things such as, you know, love. I mean, it's his first time and the boy has a blank expression all the time. Don't misinterpret his face when you're with him. I'm sure he's enjoying his time with you even with a frown on his face."

I waved a hand, shy at how Yoongi's trying to cheer me up and trust in Tae. "I understand why he's like that. But-" I got cut off with my phone's loud ringtone. I took it out of my pocket and saw that it was Taehyung calling me. I quickly looked at Yoongi with wide eyes before answering the call. "Hello?"

My heart was beating fast as I waited for his response. It wasn't a full day without him but it felt like I missed him a lot like we didn't see each other for a week. "Can you meet me at the bus stop near BTS?", his deep voice managed to make me smile in an instant.

"Why not inside BTS? Don't you have to work today?" I asked, while Yoongi looked confused.

"I just want to talk to you alone... There are a lot of people in BTS at this time of the night. I'll start my shift after we talk."

"Alright then.. I'm coming over."

"Take care on your way here."

"I'm just a few steps away from you, pabo." I told him before ending the call. "He said he'll start his shift after we talk outside." Yoongi nodded and smiled before standing up to get back behind the counter.
