"Everyone out! Let's stretch our legs!" Inko chirps as she pulls into the furthest spot at the rest area. Bakugo practically lunges himself out of the car, towards the restroom. Midoriya lazily climes out of the car and struggles to stand for a moment. They had been driving for five hours straight at this point. Midoriya throws his arms above his head, stretching. Inko and Mitsuki hop out and join the green haired boy.

"You boys have been very quiet this entire drive." Inko says towards her son.

"Huh?" Midoriya looks at his mom. "Y-yeah. Just nothing to say I guess." He replies nervously.

"That is the longest I have ever heard Katsuki not be a brat." She chuckles. She knew too well that it was because he couldn't control himself. She knew he bullied the poor boy standing in front of her. She didn't find out till recently. Kirishima had accidentally let it slip to her when he had been over to the house a few weeks ago. That was the main reason she wanted both boys to come. They were so close when they were kids. They were absolute best friends. Everything changed when Bakugo got his quirk. Everyone praised him, and it went to his head. He thinks he is the best at everything. He needed a strong reality check. Mitsuki hoped that forcing the boys together would make Bakugo remember what his life actually is. It isn't about being the best at everything, but about wanting the best for everyone. She wanted her son to remember who he was before he discovered his quirk. He was a happy kid. He used to laugh and smile more than everyone. She closed her eyes and remembered when Bakugo was just a small child.

"Kaachan!"
"Izuchan!"

She could still hear the boys yelling for each other when they got separated.

"Let's all go to the bathroom." Inko said while putting her hand on her son's back. Her voice pulled Mitsuki from her thoughts.

"Y-yeah." Midoriya replied.

After everyone had finished using the restroom and stretching, they all piled back into the car.

"Mom?" Midoriya questions.

"Yes honey?"

"Can you plug my phone in up there?" He asks gently while handing his phone to her.

"Of course baby!" She smiles as she reaches for the cord. Mirdoriya takes a second to glance over at Bakugo. He was just staring out the window. He really didn't want to be here. Midoriya grew sad. He wanted to have fun with his mom and everyone. He knew that Bakugo would only make matters worse though. He sighed heavily as he turned to look out his own window.

"So what is everyone the most excited for?" Mitsuki asks as she pulls out of the rest area, back onto the busy highway.

"This summer to be over." Bakugo grunted. She quickly turn to give him a death glare.

"If I wasn't driving, I would be beating your ungrateful ass." She spat before turning her attention back to the road.

"I'm excited for the beach!" Inko cheered.

"I'm excited for the lazy days, just lounging around." Mitsuki added. "What are you most excited about Izuku?" She asked looking at the boy in the rearview mirror.

"I don't really know." He mumbled quietly. "Maybe to just be away from home for a while. Everything can get a little hectic in the dorm, so just a quiet vacation seems nice." He smiled.

"Tch." Midoriya avoided Bakugo's eyes as he looked down do his twiddling thumbs.

"Where are we even staying at?" Bakugo asked in annoyance.

"There is a nice two bedroom cottage right on the beach!" Inko replies.

"What are the sleeping arrangement plans?"
