backstory : as a child , and still to this day , taiyo is blissfully unaware of all the pain his mother has inflicted on almost the entire world . he prefers to think that she is like everyone else ; a normal human who just makes horrible mistakes that they wish they could erase , but can't . he's a pretty big optimist and constantly has to lie to himself when he realizes not everything is all sunshine and rainbows . when his twin sister , tsuki enoshima , turned out to be their mother's successor , he continuously declared that those who spoke ill of his mother and sister were just idiots that this family is just sick and in need of help . there's a part of him that believes the things that are being said about his mother , but he can't bring himself to face it . the memory he has of his mother were always fond and doesn't understand why anyone speaks negatively of her at all . mia naegi , who was the main help in the tsuki reformation project , decides not to bother on convincing him of his mother's wrongdoings , and would rather show him the real evidence through a simulation, thinking it might bring him back to his senses .
