I hear the doorbell ring and I rush downstairs to open it. Betty and I go up to my room and we sit down on my bed.
"Sooo, Brittney who do you like???" asked Betty annoyingly.
"Who do you like??" I asked her suspiciously.
She giggles and said "I am glad you asked."
She leans in and whispers "Jughead" and starts to giggle uncontrollably. Then goes "your turn!!"
I tell her quietly "Archie..." and blush hard, my whole face turning red.
"OMG...<3" she screeches. "You should totally go with him to the dance!¨
She gets up and pulls me out of the house into the streets.
There I see Archie in a white shirt throwing a ball, while his dog runs after it. Betty nudges me towards him as we walk across the streets.
He sees us walking towards him. ¨Hey..." he says.
¨Hey" me and Betty said in unison.
¨Heyyy Archie you going to the dance?¨ said Betty in a sing song voice.
¨Uh yeah...¨
¨Who are you going to ask?¨ she said nudging my arm.
She quickly left and started to play with his dog. We both stood there awkwardly for a few moments and he said
¨Brittney I was wondering..... if you would like to..... go to the....dance with me? he asked quietly.
¨I would love that¨ I replied with a smile.
I grabbed Betty and we ran back into my house. We ran up to my room and as we plopped down on my bed she asked out of breath
¨So are you going with him?¨
¨Yea" I said calmly.
