An acrostic.
Walk me to the city of bones while the sky's still dark,
Hidden where all the hearts you broke, let me see them all,
In those hollows and jagged edges, I see who you are,
Remember the time, the time I learnt to crawl?
Learning to break through, but your claws were in too far,
Wounded and fractured, glaring back I stood tall,
I was fighting for myself but we were wheeling the same cart,
None of us gave in, look there's my heart, as broken as I recall,
Dad? is that yours, carelessly thrown on the sidewalk?
