Your Eyes

I looked into your eyes for a little too long today,
They told me stories I didn't want to hear,
Peeked into my soul more than I allowed,
Reminded me of all the wrongs I ever did,
Scared me, robbed me of any warmth I possessed,
Showed me things I don't wish to see,
And all the things you could steal from me,
In a way, that it'd look like it was always yours,
They stop me from looking away,
Sucking me in,
Till I completely succumb,
And crumple at your feet.
