Once everyone was in the screening room, you sat down right next to the only person that you really knew, Eum. Yeah, it probably is a bad idea but did you care at the moment? Not really, no. Eum looked over at you but he said nothing. He thankfully was sitting in the middle row so you wouldn't be noticed that much.

"Alrighty, who wants to be 'checked' first?" Mr. Murderslaughter asked with a smile. As expected, no one raised their hand. The warden's smile fell flat as he looked around in the seated crowd of criminals. "Hmm... how about you. The young man with the poorly, blue, dyed hair in the middle row?" Everyone's gaze shifted over to Eum's. The young man, although mentally ill, still recognized when the spotlight was on him. He shakily stood up but you immediately sat him down, your hand resting on his leg. It wasn't fair that Mr. Murderslaughter was picking on mentally helpless people.

"Pretty?" He questioned, his blue hair falling in his eyes. Once he looked at you, your heart melted. At that moment, you could see your little brother looking at you with those big, puppy eyes. You teared at the thought of your little brother.

You patted Eum's leg, stood up and walked towards the Warden with a face full of fake confidence. You weren't gonna let your little bro-- your friend, Eum, be picked on.

"I didn't ask for you." The warden sniffed, his eyes squinting at you.

For the first time in a couple of hours, you spoke. "I know."

The warden flashed a dangerous smile. "Oh, look what we have here ladies and gents. We have ourselves a smart-alec. Since you volun-told yourself, how 'bout you do it infront of everybody?"

Your confidence wavered immediately, "I-isn't that illegal?"

"Illegal, shmeagle. My house-- er penitentiary, my rules. Now, step up and don't be shy about it. Everyone will just know your first name, your social security number, and your last name," he guffawed once he saw your face, "Hah! I was just kidding about two of them. Just relax, you'll do fine."

You stepped up to the glass window and a woman around the age of twenty three walked up to the otherside of the glass. She looked done with today, or was it life in general? Once she saw your questioning look she grumbled, "Stupid internships." She started to type on a computer, the loading screen reflecting off of her glasses. "So, what did you want to know about them first, Mr. Murderslaughter?"

"Their name." He deadpanned.

As she uttered out your name, you couldn't help but feel... violated. It was like the warden was taking your soul, your very own being. The woman then pulled out a bag of equipment that you had used on your adventure. It hit the table with a light thunk. She then snapped on a glove with one hand and pulled out things that were very  familiar to you. "A small pistol," she waved it in front of everybody, "a set of lock picks and... some hair pins," she waved the items again and continued, "a couple pieces of rope and a broken grappling hook." Once they were all laid out on the counter she set the bag on the ground and the Warden looked at you in amusement.

"Two heistiees in one day? My, that's very interestin'."

You looked at him in confusion, you were a leader in a heist? You would have laughed right then and there if you weren't so scared. Yes you were... breaking and entering, but you didn't steal an ancient artifact (like the Holy Grail in Indiana Jones or something)-- that was suicide!

The warden whistled for the crowd to quiet down and then turned to you. "Alright, since your background has been checked, you can go ahead and leave or, you could stay here and wait for your... pal. The choice is yours." You stood up there for a little bit, debating whether to wait for Eum or not. You made your choice and walked down to the middle of the row, towards him. The delusional male made a sound of confusion as he looked at you. You gave him a small smile and sat down. "Alright, who's next?"
