Nothing of note. Yeet.

Memoire 15

Vanitas's reaction to Roland calling him a victim of VotBM is rather strange. He seems to get angry about it whether people ask if he worships VotBM or pity him because of her/them. Roland annoys him in general but still:

We learn that Roland's weapon is called Durandal, which is based on a sword of the same name from the Song of Roland

We learn that Roland's weapon is called Durandal, which is based on a sword of the same name from the Song of Roland. There are other characters in the Song of Roland with named weapons. I'll mention the ones I'm sure of but I think there are more, idk the Song of Roland seems kind of dense so I have trouble delving too deep into it even though it helps my understanding of this series.

Oliver (who Olivier is based on) wields Hauteclaire. A man called Turpin wields the sword Almace. Charlemagne has Joyeuse, another sword. Baligant has two, Precieuse and Maltet, a sword and a spear. Ganelon has the sword Murglais. So these could be names of future Chasseurs! Gano may be Ganelon though because their names seem similar enough.

Noé is considerably powerful in some senses. Roland comments that he's never seen a vampire able to cope with the flash bomb so well before. It could be that Roland just hasn't met many powerful vampires but that seems like a stretch given he is probably the most powerful Chasseurs we've seen so far (I'm not sure how to measure him against Olivier but for now I'm assuming he's stronger.).
