It crackled like a million whips snapping at once, the sinister magic. In a green lighting, it began screeching in a violent orbit. The Sorcerer controlled it's motion with his staff and began hissing enchanted charms to initiate the mergence of the distant world the dark sorcerers intended to connect to. Long had they planned this ritual; long had there coalition remained secret. The portal increased in its intensity, growing brighter and more powerful. It was nearly ready. Behind the sorcerer, his minions crept up the brick steps bringing with them the torch of Amangorith to set the portal aflame and complete the connection. Step. Step. Step. The sorcerer managed to contain the screaming lighting to form a smooth ring and at his word, his minions tossed the flames into the portal. SOOSH! The connection was complete. The portal was stable.
