After severak hours of sitting , the bride was brought to the grooms room where she awaited his arrival. Aahil entered and took off her veil. Handing her two heavy golden bangels he spoke in a raspy tone
"With these I promise you a lifetine of happiness".

He leaned in to kiss her heavy eyelids before asking for his approval to move further. Seeing the seal of approval in her eyes, Aahil lowered his body over her gently removing all obstacled from his way before making her his in every sense of the world.

The next moring the couple woke and took a hasty showrr before heading to the dining room to have breakfast of the ever famous heera mandi's halva puri. Safa had just only placed the first morsel in her mouth when she heard a servant whisper
"Look at the slut, enjoying food from her slut street"

If someone else had heard the whisper they did not show it for which she was greatful. As already she was red from embarrassment. Safa felt her throat tighten and tears began to glisten in her eyes. This was just the start.

In the evening, the Walima took place. Safa wore a light pink and silver sari. With the blouse covered in millions of tine stones. On her neck rested a beautiful diamond set with earrings the shape of teardrops. Safa truly was a beauty.

The couple sat on the raised platform to enjoy many performances. An entire circuis had been invited to entertain the king and the queen. The circuis presented a fire eater, an acrobat and even a lion that followed commands like any domesticated dog would. Then there was the recital of poetry, where famous poets of the time presented with their best work making the crowd awe-struck.

It was time for the last entertaining act of the day. A dance performace by the most femal dancers. Their clothes barely covered their privates and the seductive yet lethargic movements enticed the crowd. Seeing this act of seduction, Safa was worried that Aahil would bed one of the dancers. Hence triggering her insecurities.

It was just the calm before the storm.

As the dance came to an end, Safa's mother entered shocking everyone. In a dark black outfit and brightly painted red lips, she passed a malicious smile before speaking
"Wow! The king married the prostitutes daughter. How fascinating.  I will have you know Safa that you will never be enough for him . Look at his handsomeness and the beauty that surrounds him. I pray that you NEVER find happiness beacuse you are an ill omen Safa. May you live a childless life."

Seeing all the commotion, Kashif snuck out of the hall and sneakily made his way to the garden. After crossing quite a few hurdles, he reached his destination. The arms of a woman. The two secretly discussed their plan and smiled. The kingdom was in for a shock. And Safa would be the one to suffer the most.

The next morning, Safa was having breakfats alone with the dowager Queen. She was still pretty shaken up by yesterdays incident. As Safa chewed tiny morsels, Raheela opened her mouth and with every ounce of bitterness said
"Remember a Queen never has friends nor family"
