(ch. 1) Selections

Tom's POV

"Hello everyone! Thank you for coming here today, in a few minutes we will start the selection so please prepare yourself and do youre best!" One of the judges said before going back in a separate room.
Im at a music competition and im so scared!

When i first heard of it i wanted to go so bad but i was afraid of what my boyfrend would have said to me.... he is not the best. His name is Kyle, he is a big guy.. very muscular, and he is a bit controlling.
But fortunatly he agreed to it and im so gratefull, i think something is up but i don't care, this is my occasion to be happy for once.

Now he is beside me looking at the other participants whit evil eye, yeah he is very jelous.

After a few minutes they started to call names and people where going in and out that room, my fear only grew up.

An hour has passed and only three people other than me remains...

"Thomas" Kyle said "if you are going to pass this selection i want you to stay away for strangers understand?"

"..yes" i responded, in used to not have any social interaction with other people, that should not be a big deal.

"THOMAS NIGHT IS YOURE TURN" Fuck is me! I grabbed my bass guitar smiled at Kyle and entered the room.

[Time skippp after the performance]

I saw the judges talk to each other and than.. " ok Tom, here is the catch, we think you have great potential and we whant you here!"

What.... oh my god for real!!
"But! We have a little secret, in order ti make the competition stand up we decided to create group of four people off the one that pass this selection, you will meet them tomorrow. Congratulations!"

I was speechless... i had so many mixed emotions, i was so happy but at the same time afraid. How im gonna say that to Kyle!? I can lie... but....
"Um Tom? Are you ok?" One of the judges said to me snapping me out of my thoughts "y-yes! Thank you i can't wait!!" I said and run out of the room.

I spotted Kyle and run to him hugging him "i did it! I did it!"
"Good job kitten, lets go and celebrate" he said and took me home.
