Jace knew that this was unhealthy. Totally, incredibly, dangerously unhealthy. But he didn't care, all he wanted was for the pain to go away. He slowed his running as he neared Simon and Jordan's apartment. He prayed to the angels that Jordan was out today. He needed Simon, and only Simon. He took a deep breath in as he knocked on the door and instantly regretted it. His senses had been seriously sensitive recently and now all he could smell was sweat. His own, he presumed. He had run hurriedly from the institute as soon as he had felt the dizziness kick in. He had known it was a sign that the fever would be coming. He had been addicted to vampire venom before, but from vampires that didn't care about him in the slightest. He and Simon weren't exactly best friends but they had a few strings attached and he knew it. He just hoped that Simon cared for him enough that he would bite him to reduce withdrawal side affects. Ever since the incident on Valentine's ship, Jace had been craving Simon's venom. The Shadowhunter had tried to resist temptation but, ultimately, he had failed. The door in front of him swung open and a topless Simon was standing in the doorway. Jace smirked. Simon had really gained a nice body. Good for him. A look of confusion crossed Simon's face

"Jace?" He sounded surprised. Of course he did, he thinks Jace hates him

"In the flesh." Simon rolled his hazel eyes

"What do you want?" Simon snapped. Jace felt himself recoil. Until he realised that he and Simon hate each other, Right? Fingers snapped in his face "Jace?"

"Oh, Sorry bloodsucker." Jace's attention snapped back. Simon scowled. "What? At least it's better than mundane."

"Actually, it's not." Simon mumbles under his breath. But Jace heard it. He instantly felt bad. He opened his mouth to apologise but quickly snapped it shut again when he realised what he was about to do. "What do you want, Jace?"

"Right, yeah. Can I come inside?" Simon quirked an eyebrow. "What? Is there something on my face?"

"Yeah, it's called prick." Jace chuckled

"Can I come in or not?" Simon huffed and pivoted on the spot. Every feature on his smooth-skinned back was highlighted by the mid-morning sun. It was... beautiful? He stalked towards a room at the end of the hall, pausing half way through when he realised Jace wasn't following him. He turned around and raised an eyebrow at Jace

"Well?" Jace sighed and stepped in the door, closing it behind him. He hung his jacket on the hook by the door and a gust of cold air hit the exposed, healing puncture wounds on his neck, reminding him what he was here for. "Make yourself at home." Simon said politely, flopping backwards onto the couch. Jace sat down on the armchair across from Simon and nervously scratched the back of his neck. Simon must've noticed this small gesture, as his face immediately softened. "Are you okay?" Simon asked gently, concern clear on his face. Jace's heart swelled. Simon genuinely cared about him. Focus, Morgenstern he scolded himself. Jace gathered all his courage and breathed in deeply through his mouth

"Uhm- no, actually."

"Jace. What's wrong?"

"Y-You know how you b-bit me, the other day?" Jace stuttered. Guilt flashed on Simon's face. At the time, Jace had panicked. Not knowing what else to do to save Simon, he gave up his own blood willingly. Simon nodded in recognition, urging Jace to continue. "Well I-" Jace's voice caught. He didn't know what to say. Simon's brows furrowed in confusion. Jace took another deep breath. "Ineedyoutobitemeagain." Jace mumbled

"What?"

"I need you t-to bite me again."

"And why would I do that?"

"Simon, please. I will get on my knees if I have to." Simon arched an eyebrow. This could be entertaining. "Please." Jace attempted to soften his face. He knew how convincing he could be. All it took was a bit of manipulation and irresistible charm. Simon huffed a breath out of his nose. Jace inwardly smiled. He thought it was cute that Simon still breathed for comfort, even when he doesn't need to.

"Alright, fine. Come here." Jace obliged. He sat on the couch next to Simon and turned his head, exposing the veins on his neck. Simon visibly swallowed. "Are you sure?" Jace nodded. "Are you sure that you want it on your neck. It's okay if your wrist is more comfortable. I know some people take it the wrong way and I just-" Simon rambled

"It's fine." Jace cut him off impatiently "Go ahead." Jace pulled his shirt over his head in an attempt to tempt Simon further. His looks were one way to convince people to do things. He heard Simon's fangs snap out. Interesting he smiled to himself. He braced himself as Simon moved closer to him. Simon's hands clamped bruisingly hard on his jaw and he shivered as fangs grazed his neck...
