I rolled my eyes
My dad got in the car and pulled off
"Kyle phone" he said and I ignored him
"Kyle give me your phone" he yelled and I threw it at him
He pushed on the breaks making me hit my head
"Kyle don't try me today." He pulled back off
My mom looked at me then back at the road
The ride was silent the whole way home I got out and went straight to my room
Closing it and locking it i grabbed my basketball and started throwing up in the air
At least he ain't hit me I kept repeating to myself
I put the ball down then looked out my window then at the door
I got up and went to the living room being that my room was right by it
I saw my dad in the kitchen wit my mom laying on the couch
"Ma can I go to my friend house" I asked and she nodded and point to the back door telling me to go out that door
I left and walked to Noah's house
He house was bout 30 minutes walking distance
I made my way as I saw people staring at me then I realized I was still wearing my church outfit which was a grey sweater vest some khaki pants and my dress shoes
I just kept walking
When I got there I knocked on the door and jada answer
"Kyle awww you look handsome" she said reaching for my cheek but I smacked her hand and walked in
"Nigga where you was at dressed like that" Dylan asked
"Church" was all I said as I walked up to Noah's room
When I opened it he was laying down on his bed and Cleo was sitting on his chair
"Hey ky" she said and I guess she felt the tension "Ight I'll call you later. I got a doctors appointment" wit that she left
Noah looked at me then sat up
"You ain't talk to me in about a week Whatchu want" he said
"You da fuck" I walked over to his bed and laid on it
"Don't act like it" he mumbled and I smack me teeth "Nigga if I ain't wanna be wit you I would have walked fucking 30 minutes in dress shoes to get here" He laughed at me
"You done wit fucking up your future" he asked me
I nodded
